There are many private hospital in this city. I'm never examination or treatment there, because the cost is very high. And I don't know the doctors are good or not.
I heart many the bad things about private hospital. Such as: Patients pay a ridiculous fee, no qualifications doctors and hospitals irresponsible. Private hospitals have have the advantage of spacious, clean and patients do not have to wait long.
However, I still believe in public hospitals more. If there is no urgent reasons, I will not enter private hospitals.

Really? You mean that you must pay the same fees for two doctors?

I guess it depends on our needs and facilities that we can get. But for the conveninece of healing, of course i prefer private hospital for that...

That's right. If you need the convenience of healing, you should choose a private hospital.

In my country there are good and not so good public and private hospitals, but I think that in general the health problems are well taken care of. We have good doctors, good schools of medicine and reasonable hospitals. Of course there are also awesome hospitals for the wealthy patients. But they are not better as health goes. The only thing that is better are the accomodations.

it depends on what government hospital or private hospital that is. because one always has something that the other one doesn't.
so far, i am not satisfied of the government hospital here in our city. my cousin was admitted there and the services are not good. usually yo are not taken cared of well because it is not a private hospital where you pay so much for their services.
when my nephew was brought to the public hospital a long time ago because there was no specialist available that time at the private hospital. we were told to just wait and then was never tended to until my sister got so mad at them. then after that, the doctor was saying so much bad things like my nephew has a bad condition and may lose his sight. gosh, we felt so bad of course but when we brought my nephew to another specialist the next day and thank God, there was one available; the doctor said the opposite and so we got so relieved. he found the first doctor's finding ridiculous and that my nephew is far from losing his sight.
for me, as long as money permits, i am choosing private hospitals. we can find and replace money, but not health and life.

I agree with you that there were some bad things occurring in public hospital. But they must have responsibility. And patients are protects by many law enforcement agencies

We don't have private hospitals in Canada (that i know of, anyway), so I'm not sure how I'd feel about a private hospital. I'm used to all of my medical care being linked together and I think a private hospital might not work the same way. Also, I doubt I could afford it.

In my country, the services rendered by doctors and nurses in both private and public hospitals are the same. The difference is that the rooms in the private are occupied by fewer patients and the number of nurses are proportional to the number of patients they handle. Thus, in the private hospitals, the nurses could take care of the patients more because they could have proportionate time for each. The same is true for the doctors.

From where I come from it is better to find and choose a private hospital. It would be a bit expensive but one stand a better chance of getting better service and medical attention than in public hospitals. Public hospitals in my place go by the lyrics of the song in "Mona Liza": "...they just lie there and they die there..."

I'm afraid it depends on what country you're in, and, frankly, I don't envy you. If you can get to an hospital run by evangelical Christians, you'll in the main get honest treatment and sympathetic charging, but, of course, Christians do not have a monopoly on these qualities, certainly in my country. Also, we Christians do have our share of hypocrites that have wormed their way in amongst us, and we ourselves are not infallible.

I would like to use private hospital rather than public because there are no many basic facilities in public hospitals as well as there is no good food given in public hospitals.
I have already suffered a lot from the public hospitals.
Private hospitals are very expensive to bear but they can give every facilities as patient needs. The health is wealth so no need to compromise with money in my view.
