I have been trying to open a document which I need to print. Each time I do, it hangs. I tried using Ctrl+Alt+Del but task manager is disabled. I am using the computer here in the office. What must I do?

If you have loaded your comp with lots of **** then it will be slow and freeze all the time.Remove unwanted programs and do a disk clean up.Free some space on your HDD and then see if its any different. It could also be a virus so check for viruses, spyware, adware etc.If it still freezes then re-install the OS.

Contact the IT guys. You can't access the Task Manager because you don't have the privilege as Administrator. And anyway, I guess the main problem here is to print your document, right? And if every time you try to print and your computer got hangs, then it's already a right time to ask help from the IT guys.

You are using an office computer and company IT departments lock out a lot of features to protect their data and computer systems. As said above, you don't have the authority to do what you want. If it is a genuine work document that is giving you trouble then call your IT department. But if, as I suspect, it is a personal file you wish to print then you will have to wait till you are at home on your own computer.

looks like the computer you are using has a virus...most of the viruses disable system configurations on your computer...let the IT guys in your office have it checked....

You can't access windows task manager if you are not logged in as administrator. Only the administrator user can access windows task manager. Sometimes this is done to computers so that the user can not change its settings.

The last time that happened to me, I took it as a sure sign that I needed a new computer. LOL Maybe suggest to the office managers that they upgrade their machines, or get a virus scan, or something like that. I am not expert, I'm just going by what I remember from the last time I had that problem.

Sometime the windows won't allow the computer user to use task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del). Other than that, the virus inside our computer is lock or slow damage the task manager which is cannot be function at all. The task manager is very easiest program that could attacked by virus. This is doesn't mean your computer is in danger but try to scan computer using malware remover and some other.

Oho... Its means there is a strong virus in your computer... It disabled your task manager.. Because from task manager we can also stop the process of virus.. You have to reinstall the copy of your OS.. Or just recover your OS...
