I've been feeling sick lately. Headache, neck pain and dizziness are usually my complain. I usually take pain killers and anti-vertigo meds. I self-medicate most of the time. But my friends told me that it is necessary for me to see a doctor. Should I see a doctor?

I have no choice I go on working. I try to ignore it as much as possible since feeling sick won't make me feel any better and nobody loves to be around with a sick and complaining person. Also this won't make me feel better so it's a waste of good energy. If I am in pain I take painkiller, if I feel really tired out I see to get some extra sleep.
Your dizzyness can be a lack of iron in your blood, so changing your food habits might help. I don't know what kind of painkillers you take but you should know that pain is there for a reason. Plus all kind of medication can have side effects as well. These side effects can be 10 times worser as what you like to cure. Also they can make it impossible for your body to keep the necessary minerals and vitamines in your body or out the food.
Against pain also meditation can help, so be alone, in peace and hormoney.. for a good health you have to know yourself and be in harmony plus plenty of drinking (water) and good food and enough sleep.

When i am feeling sick, i would not take pain relievers, but if i feel having a fever, i would take paracetamol. If you think what you are feeling is not the normal sickness you used to have, i think it is best to have a doctor's opinion.

How long have you been feeling this way? If it is just a couple of days, I would not be too concerned. I would try having a massage. But if it longer than a few days and you are having no relief, then you should see doctor.
Your problems could be something not serious or it could be something very serious.
What are you taking?

I think if your symptoms have been going on for more than 2 or 3 days, it would be wise to see a doctor.

You should probably see a doctor if it's not just a common head cold or allergies.I wouldn't put it off, just because with those symptoms you never really know. When I'm feeling sick, which thankfully isn't often, I try to get a lot of rest & drink a lot of water. Hope you feel better!

You usually take pain killers and anti-vertigo meds, and you self-medicate most of the time, but is it work?
I think it doesn't work, you had better to see a good doctor, and have an examination to get professional treatment,it's not good for your health.

If this is something that hasn't been going on for a long time, then I think that it is fine to self-medicate as that is something that I do when I'm not feeling well. However, if the symptoms that you are experiencing are symptoms that have been going on for a period of time, then I would think that you might need to see your doctor about it.
The reason that I say that you might need to see your doctor is that these symptoms could be a sign of something more serious.

Stop playing with pain killers and anti-vertigo meds. These are very harmful if the condition they are supposed to treat is not there. Go to a good Doctor and have a prescription.

As most people said,it is better to go to the doctor. But on top of that i would suggest you eat a lot-5 to 7 times a day, drinking a lot of water and rest.A walk outside should be good, but the organism is weakened and needs energy and rest.I hope you get better quickly.

When it comes to vertigo it is best go see a doctor just because there could be so many causes for it. If it happens often, or recurs, which seems to be the case then you definitely need to go see someone. It could be an inner ear infection, it could be anything.
I don't like doctors either and try to do what I can to take care of myself without using them. Still, with vertigo and dizzy problems I'd reccommend going to a specialist.
