Hi friends,
When I opened Factoidz dot com this morning, it led me to a different site. As there were many open windows in front of me, I didn't remember if I at all opened factoidz or not. So, I opened the site in a new window again and then I was directed to Knoji dot com. I was surprised how this happened. So, I accessed one of my articles through my mailbox and then I came to know that Factoidz has now become Knoji.
Did you know about this change before? As for me, I wasn't aware of it and I guess, I didn't even read anything about these changes from factoidz as I have been logging into the site daily.
Will the functioning of the site remain the same as before?
Please share your experiences and views.

That's news to me, but then I've never written for them. I'll be watching this thread with interest to see if there are any other changes.
I suspect it's just one of those marketing decisions. You know, some overpaid executive decides to give up their PR, word of mouth marketing and reputation to change the name to something completely unremarkable and hard to remember.

Well, let alone you (as you don't write for them), it is news to me too even when I have been logging in daily. It certainly came out of the blue.
If the changes is what you are looking for, then they have introduced a new brand Q&A system. They say your activity in the Q&A category, will influence your earnings. It still too new to have any activity there, seems pretty silent at the moment. But I am sure members will be flocking soon.
Now let me ask you some technicalities as I believe you are the right person who can answer it here. Do you think changing the way system functions, the layout and even the domain name has anything to do with their existence?
Now, this is really interesting. I want you to go and see what they describe about their site. You will also be amused. They say the word "Knoji" is easy to remember and has lesser words to type. However, the primary reason for this domain is that it sounds good. You said exactly the opposite.
Nothing against you. I am just pointing it out. And I hope I haven't misinterpreted it. Correct me if I have.
P.S. Did I mention the change in the design (no time to go back and read what I wrote above)?

Now the question arise what about the traffic and ranking they were getting from factoidz.com . Will it still remain the same or drop down......?

As far as I read and understood their new set of rules, I don't think it's voluntary. I just checked and there were loads of questions and answers already. This shows you will have to work in that category as well, if you have to earn well (not good - now I remember the correction you pointed out last time). Had it been optional, I doubt how many members might have got so active in such a short period of time.
Ah, I didn't notice this that k-n-o-j-i is typed with only one hand. That's a smart piece of observation.
And I don't think you may need to steal anyone's ideas. You are smart enough to do it yourself.
