These past few days I felt something wrong with my health. I felt more lousy, weak and have pain. There are times that my sinus attacks together with head ache, times that my whole body is in pain, numbness on my feet and also in my hands. Now I'm thinking of this is the hard part of being alone no one to tell about what I'm going through. No one give advice or giving me word of encouragement. Only me who can calm my self. I know what I'm suppose to do, I will go to the doctor to have a check up on what's happening to me. But I'm afraid of the results too, I don't know how to accept the things might the doctor said to my health. Also I don't have enough money to have a general check up, I don't know if I need some serious of check up and it cost too much that I can't afford. Sorry to vent on you guys, I just need someone to talk.

I am sorry to hear of your health problems and your dilemma. I think it is best you go to see a doctor though, and find out what is wrong. The more you wait, the worse off you may get and the more money it may take to fix you up, or the worse news you may receive. I am hoping that the doctor can explain what is going on with you and help you to feel better soon, but please do go to the doctor and find out what is going on with you. It's better to do it now then wait and find out if you had just not waited... You know what I mean? Good Luck.

Here in the USA there are places that take payments after a checkup or visit. Maybe looking into that in your country will help you save money, just make sure they are reputable.

No we don't have like that, here in my country it is the expensive thing that you will not afford if you will get sick. That's why sometimes we rely on self medication because we are afraid when we see a doctor expenses will kill us and not on the illness.

Oh, we all discuss like this on MyLot. We are your friends all around the clock. So sorry you feel so alone. It is good to see the doctor. It has been a while since I had a complete checkup myself, because of money. There are things like the flu that make you hurt all over, and the only way you get better is to rest, drink lots of fluids and let your body get healed.

Thanks GardenGerty I know that mylot friends are always there, I drink a lot of fluids everyday I do drink vitamins too, I exercise as much as a I can I want to be healthy so that I will avoid the doctors, but it seems I really need to see them. SomeCowgirl, I don't have problems in my genitals organs because I undergo hysterectomy in my last baby 13 years ago that's why I'm not worried about it. I felt weak in my bones hands and feet. And I'm afraid when it hurts.

The last check up so to speak I had was becuase of a job that I was going for, it was a necessity to get those things done. Other then that I had a pap smear done by the health department. I need to go have something done again. There is a clinic not far from me that I believe will take payments. I need to go get things checked out. I feel healthy but well you never know.

You may have caught something, and it will be good to have the doctor reassure you about your health.

Well, people can't help being paranoid at times especially when they're in the brink of hearing news about themselves. No matter what situation you're in,it always helps to think positive. If you know the movie "The Secret",there's a woman who got cured from cancer through positive thinking & gratitude w/o chemo or radiation. The mind is really powerful. What it can conceive,it can achieve.I know you'll be well in no time.Be happy! :)

I'm a fan of it actually I have the old version of "The Secret" book and also the DVD copy, but sometimes when your alone and no one to talk too you can't push your self to be positive at all times. Mylot friends are great to talk too rather talk to myself alone. Thanks kat I hope you always apply the Secret rule too.

This sounds like the flu that we are just now getting over. It started the very same way with all of us. You feel achy all over and weak, it effects your sinuses and you have horrible headaches. There were times our feet would feel tingly and hands as well. Are you running a fever? Do you have a cough? This goes with it as well. If you can somehow make it to the doctor it would be a good idea to see one just in case. Also in looking on the internet for causes of these symptoms please be sure and notice that it will say things like these symptom MAY be caused from one thing or another. It does not necessarily mean that you will have something horrible. There are many causes of symptoms and it is best to see a doctor. There is also a possibility with these symptoms being either a bladder or kidney infection. Not saying it is but if so you will need antibiotics so you really need to see a doctor. Drinking plenty of water will help to flush your kidneys and bladder so drink plenty and try cranberry juices as well. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks katie, I don't have fever or any cough. I just felt that I'm getting weaker everyday I tried to exercise but I can do that as much because of the pain. I'm still planning and saved some money before going to the doctor.

Hi Lynboobsy11! I've read from one of your comments about "The Secret" book. I'm reading it too, though I've just started it. However, I've already watched the film from one of the trainings I've attended for our team to develop us on having a positive attitude and live a healthier life through positive energy. You see I've realized that when we are alone, this is really the time when negative thoughts are so easy get attracted. We get to think a lot of our worries, problems, and insecurities. Good thing that our team was so positive and lively that when we're together, we are able to recharge ourselves and motivate one another. Oh by the way, were you able to visit your doctor within the week? I hope that you're in better condition. If in any case you need help for your health, I may be able to help you. We also have our team mates there in Olongapo so we all stay healthy physically, socially and even financially. Because we constantly have projects as well especially this year.

Hi lynboobsy11! I have responded to you and god_is_good's comment in his one discussion. Anyways, our team is called XTRM which means refusing to be ordinary in order to bring triumph. I'll be visiting my cousin there this month. So if its ok to you, I can inform you ahead of time so I can share to you about the team, our activities and projects, then you can decide if you find it interesting and how it can benefit you as well.

I know exactly what you mean about being afraid of the results form doctor's tests and I think that most of us who have aches and pains tend to worry about this, but it is always better to go along. Whatever there is facing us in life is part of life. And I once met a very spiritual person when I was afraid of what may be lurking under the pains I was getting and she said to me.. "there is nothing given to you in this life that your soul doesn't want, and nothing is given to you that you can't handle. There is much more than you realize" when I heard that statement I felt stronger and more confident and went off to the doctor and discovered that there was no life-threatening illness at all. I had CFS and I had to adjust my lifestyle accordingly. I always get pains now and again now, but it always best to check out anything I am not sure of. Hope that everything is well for you, and it is better to know what it is, than go on imagining what it might be. )_Derek

That would be scary and even if you don't have the money go find out what's wrong.....if you are stress that might add to your problems. I had a friend who also had her hand and arm go numb for several days then it disappeared..she still doesn't know why it happened! but make sure you get sufficient rest and eat properly that might help the situation somewhat.

Ask your doctor or check if you have low blood pressure. There could be a tumor growing in you and not notice it. That's what happened to my mom years ago.

Sorry to hear that you're having health problem. But still the best thing to do is to have your health check. Do not wait for long, the earlier the better to avoid more complication just in case. This is one common problem with us, we tend to ignore our health as long as we can still tolerate the pain, until such time the problem become too big and too late to cure. So, please, do visit a doctor soon.:)

hi lyn! Do what you must do and then whatever the results maybe, lay your worries to the Lord. I know it is not being easy to be alone. Being not able to tell somebody the worries you have the emptiness to someone whom you are consider your friend. But always remember you are not alone. You have God with you, just believe. And remember he will never abandon you if you will not abandon Him first. Hope it is not serious. I will pray for Good health to you.

Hello my friend lyn. Everybody has something to be afraid of at some point in our life. Your concerns are legitimate as it is one of the top two concerns of the world. I don't know exactly the circumstances happening so I can't make conclusive response. Why are you so alone at this time of your life? I thought you have your loving husband, your kids, and your parents. And there are your friends. Anyway, you have a family at mylot, though we may not see each other or be near to you to comfort you but I hope that you feel the warmth that we are here to be an encouragement to you. I had been studying alternative medicine lately now for a year. I can say that you have a weak immune system. Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly. These are the keys to have a good health.

If you feel that you are indeed feeling that bad, maybe a doctor's visit will be good. I did. I had health problems too...i do still now...and there is only one person who can confirm this and that is doctor.

I hope you will get better! I know it's scary feeling bad and not being able to go to doctor... I hope there is some way you can get yourself checked though. I wonder if the local government of your city could help. I know in your country it's totally different, but here if we go to their social department, if someone's financial situation doesn't allow to pay health insurance, they sometimes offer some help.

I truly hope you're alright but you should go see the doctor because if you're experiencing numbness in your hands and feet it could be a sign of something wrong. Good luck!

Don’t be afraid. Consult to a doctor immediately so it will be cured and won’t get worst. Don’t be afraid on the results, it would be better if you know the result so you can be aware and start avoiding the causes of your pain. The earlier the cure, the better and you pay less. Don’t say sorry, it’s our pleasure to help you.
