How often to feed Cereal?

Hey everyone, I have a 4 month old baby and just started her on Cereal. I feed it to her once a day, right before she goes to bed. Should I be feeding it to her more often? She downs a 4 ounce bottle about every hour. How often do you or did you feed cereal at 4 months old?

I remember my mom feeding my younger brother before. She is feeding him twice a day but in small amount and milk also, the small bottle for him. Only a small amount of cereal twice a day to feed for your baby. I think it’s alright for your 4 month old baby to feed him twice a day for a little amount only.

The twins are now 5 months old. I mix their cereal with applesauce or pears and I normally feed it to them once a day.(I am feeding them twice a day now, once is the cereal and then later on it is just plain baby food) Some days I just skip the cereal and feed them the baby food. The cereal is more filling for them though. I tried to give them the cereal with milk mixed in but it constipated them so I started mixing it with fruits.
