does it annoy you??

Usually I can put up with most people, but if they start to annoy me,I just tell them to mind their own business. If I am at work I try to stay to myself to avoid confrontations like that, because then people try to back stab you and get you in trouble. The only problem with that is then people think you being standoffish. Which I guess I am, but its better that, than having to deal with work politics. People just annoy me in general. I do not know why? It seems like the older I get, the more and more people seem to get me irritated. I guess it is just how self adsorbed they are.

People who ask questions, yeah they get on my nerves just a little bit of they push it. Granted, it is just human nature to be curious, but curiosity is really something that should be exercised with a great deal of caution. There are times where we do tend to go to the side of asking a few two many questions and unraveling a few things right in life, that should really not have been meant to be unraveled right in life. I do think that it is really annoying however when some people ask the same question in about four or five different ways over a short period of time. It is almost like they are fishing for a certain answer, but they are not getting. That to me really does get on my nerves. My answer has not changed with this question, even if the wording has been changed here and there. Some people just really want to hear what they wish to hear.

Some people are just nosy, I have found. It is annoying. If they are my friends trying to pry TOO much I will usually just tell them point-blank that I don't want to share any more information or I don't want to talk about it!

It is annoying that someone keeps asking others especially their private things. Sometimes i meet these kind of people.They are very iterested in others' privat affairs.I feel tired of them. In these cases, i will distract their topic letting them know i am not interested it. If the keep on doing so i will tell them directly.

Yes, it annoys me a lot. When people ask very personal questions without even knowing me enough, I always get suspicious that they are going to gossip about it. Sometimes it's very hard to avoid them, but if they are impolite enough to ask things which are not their business, I think I can be a bit impolite too. I usually reply with their own question, or tell them that I'm not used to these kind of questions, and I don't see why I would have to reply.

I do not mind answering questions as long as it is relevant to the present discussion. But when it comes to gossips. They wont get anything from me. I would probably answer I do not know all the time until they get tired asking questions. I am not in gossips type of person , so generally I know less about the people around me unless they give me the information itself. I do listen to gossips if I am in a group. It is good to be well informed about the people around you but not to the extent that it becomes an entertainment.

Hi Peachmom and welcome to my lot. For those that won't quit asking questions I just plain tell them that is all I am willing to answer. Yes I believe that those kinds of people are gossippers so I keep them at bay. I don't like people that gossip. If I can't say something to someones face then they aren't worth talking about in the first place. And the main thing is God don't like people that gossip!

There are really people who keeps on doing that. Well, there are those who do that to really annoy you, and others, they simply don't realize they are asking too much it makes them really annoying. It can also be that they really want to know the whole story, when in fact you don't really want to share them the whole story! Just tell them why they want to know the story and tell them that you don't want to share it... though I know it can be hard at times, just ignore them...

There are always people like that. It's all up to you how you will handle people like that. I think there is a polite way of telling them that you don't like to answer their question.

it does is annoying...at time i do mention upfront ...otherewise the best way i found was to either delay the reply or just avoid the reply...it might be rude however, the message becomes clear to the other party....u actually reminded me of someone...i can not stop laughing now of the ways i used to avoid that particular person...anyways....IT is ANNOYING for sure

i know a lot of people like that and i will admit i can be one of those people sometimes. i have been annoyed depending on who it is asking all the questions and what they want to know and what the situation is about..i will say it is not just all the gossipers tho lol. i ask a lot of questions because i like to learn about diffrent things and i like to know who you are and if i can help i will try my best. i gossip sometime but not about what someone tells me that i am tols not to tell (i have a few times but i said it before i thought about it) but i gossip about what i observe and/or hear while i am outside or something like that. i do have friends that so this to me also and i end up giving up the whole story and i wounder why we didnt just start from there in the begining lol but it only bothers me soemtimes lol i guess because i know that i do it to lol

I really dislike people like this, so annoying! Yes they are the ones of gossiping it makes me burn inside knowing what ever I tell them they will go to someone else straight away and tell them. They usually get the hint when I get annoyed with their questions as my answers become very short and plain.
