Last night, I was angry with my husband. When it was already my prayer time, it seems that I cannot utter a prayer. Instead, I just asked God to forgive me because I am angry and went to sleep.
When morning came, as i am to do my prayer time, all I did was cry . I talked with Him on my feelings. I asked him to help me to be able to express my feelings to my husband who was still sleeping, without us, hurting each other.
Thus, when my husband woke up, I was already calm . I talked with him calmly and we were able to settle it peacefully.
I know that very moment, God has lifted up all my anger. I really felt his presence this morning and I know he’s just there, waiting for me to call on him, just in case.
Share your thoughts guys.

hello my friend SIMPLYD!
How are you my friend? Really God calms us whenever we had our storms deep within us. I remember how God calms me everyday in my life. He doesn't only calms me, he also comforts me and gives me strength. There are lots of people who sometimes insults me and knocks me down that I could nearly burst with anger but there is something within me that says " I must not go on in their levels" and suddenly my patience continues. I cry when I really wanted to cry but its wonderful how He made me take another day at a time. I just pray to God to help me forgive others for what they've done and realize their mistakes...I do also pray I could easily forgive them though it's kinda hard. God lifts us when we're down and broken. My soul rests in Him alone. Thanks be to God!

That's very true my friend. God really lifts us when we're down and broken. He may allow us to have problems but he will never let us be in despair. He will rescue us just when we have no one to turn too anymore. We just have to call on Him.
God's love is calming indeed.

it is a good thing that your a very prayerful person. prayer helps a lot and in times of trouble, miracle does happen. though, in a martial situation arguments is really hard to avoid. though, from what i heard many couple does not sleep at night without having their problem settled. some , could not even sleep if they have not yet solve the problem. in your case, you have your own way to resolve those things which bother you and finally, reconcile with your husband.

Sometimes, when one is so angry with the partner, she must find the right time to confront it. Not when you are very much angry, because it could really escalate, since your partner might be so tired also from working all day.
And that's the condition of my husband. If i would have confronted him right away , i know it would be a war between us, because he is tired, just as i am too from working all day.
Having slept and recharged in the morning, you will both be calmer to deal with the issue. Besides, God will have time to work it out for good, overnight, while you both slept.
And you are right, it's a good thing that i am a very prayerful person.

Why did you get angry on your husband on the first place?
Praying is good for the body because its calm you. Its relaxes you. And that really help your stress level goes down.
Theirs two kind of praying. one is to thank GOD for the blessing you receive.
The other one is to ask GOD for help.

I think, when i asked God for his forgiveness before going to bed still angry with my husband, He considered it my prayer.
Thus, he started calming me while asleep.

God indeed calmed you down and gave you a clearer mind and a humble heart to talk to your husband about your concern.
Lately i haven't been talking to Him even though i know He's just there waiting for me with open arms. I think I don't deserve to be heard by God sometimes. I have too many sins!

I think, God loves sinners Toni. It's a challenge to Him on how to tame sinners.
All of us are basically sinners, Toni. It's just that we are not of those who sins through heinous crimes.
And that night, i felt like i sinned by not saying a prayer.

I hope that God would also intervene with us. It is hard to settle things when I cannot tell him that everything was fine. I made a mistake for trusting a friend and now the future of the family is at stake. I kept on asking God to lead me to the right way, to the right people. Somehow he answered some of my problems, and other people who are still doing bad is still not successful. I know God is with me though I hope He could answer my prayer the soonest possible, before the family would be ruin.
Let's praise God for everything, for the days that we could woke up and see the smile of our children...

Just persevere in praying my friend. He is just taking his time in answering you, because he knows what's the perfect timing.
Maybe he still wants to test your faith in him, so just keep on praying fervently my friend.
You see, i was angry and didn't pray that night, yet he still calmed me the next day, when i thought i cannot handle it .

Yeah, same here. When I pray, it really calmed me. If feels like life is so easy to bear when I pray and especially when I pray in the church. It really gives me a sacred holiness feeling that there is really Someone who is beyond everything. God bless my friends.

Yes, my friend, that night because i was angry i just asked forgiveness and slept. It wasn't a prayer at all.
Yet he calmed me the morning after. I guess, he just let me be angry that night. But he knows what He will do about it.
That's the power of God indeed, my friend.
