Recently, I discovered a new favorite snack food of mine. It’s almond coated in dark chocolate.
A small pack of 10 pieces of it only costs PhP24.00. It’s affordable indeed. I like eating it after lunch as dessert or for snacks.
You will surely like it too specially when you bite and crack into your mouth , the almond.
I think it’s a healthy treat, because dark chocolate is said to be good for the heart and almond has its nutritional values too, in addition to its being a good fiber source.

Saw this one with almond. Since I have read that almond is good also that is why I tried it also. I love the taste and would buy again next time.

What's good about it, my friend is that they have a small pack of it. At least, at a lesser price, you can buy one already and be satiated.

I thought that you are talking of the ice cream craze... Magnum Ice Cream bar which cost around P55 to P60. Its very expensive for me, buying 4 pcs for the family, I could buy a half galloon ice cream and that would be streetwise, don't you think?
Kindly pm me the brand so I can try it. I do not like dark chocolate though it is healthier but I would want to try it because of the almond and of course, the price is affordable.

Yes, try it my friend. As you eat it, savor the dark chocolate and as the chocolate is gone, you will be surprised at how delicious an almond is also.
I already sent you a PM for the brand.
I have yet to taste the Magnum Ice Cream. It's PhP50.00 only when i asked for it at Puregold. Unfortunately, it was sold out that time.

Almond coated in dark chocolate! My goodness, I do love that and can eat as much as I can without getting tired of it. And yes when the coating is dark chocolate it is really when I do really so enjoy it. Hmmm, your discussion makes me really crave and I think I have to do something about this.

I could certainly go for some right now!
I used to go buy in bulk at the local grocery store, but I couldn't control how much I ate. The bigger the bulk I get, the more I ate in one sitting.
Nowadays, I just alternate between a Cadbury or a Hershey bar!

Oh, Cadbury and Hershey is a lot expensive than this local one of ours here in the Philippines that i am talking about.
But it tastes expensive, i tell you.

Hi,
I also like the combination of chocolate and almonds. It is very delicious and healthy too. But we should avoid over eating. My wife is the lover of chocolates and she like to eat everything having chocolate.

Chocolates specially dark chocolate is good for our heart. Though, because of the sugar in it, we have to watch our blood sugar level.

That is why i love chocolates! But i was never fond of nuts.. my brother who recently arrived gave us chocolates and i chose those plain dark chocolates and milk chocolates no nuts.

Oh, we both love chocolates. Although unlike you, i am so fond of nuts, pilinuts and peanuts are what's common here.
I think almond is not indigenous here though. But i am glad they have it for stuffing on this particular chocolate.

that sounds yummy. indeed..i am a chocolate lover. like to taste a classic chocolate bar from a new brand. with different additional topping, inside and out with containing luscious caramel with fruits, rice crisp, different nuts or the plain dark chocolate is like an energy bar. it helps me to keep active both in mind and body. with that price s right and those you mention nutrients t contains. it really good to eat chocolates everyday though in fair amount to satiate our palate...

That's true my friend. Chocolate is said to be a mood lifter.
When one is depressed, eating a chocolate will help you life you bad mood.
But this particular chocolate i am talking about has an almond that really adds excitement and good taste to the already delicious taste of the chocolate.

Oh really you make it at home? That's amazing.
I am just wondering my friend, how you coat the nut with the chocolate? Is the chocolate hot and melting when you coat the nut?

I love the combination of almonds and chocolates. I don't get tired of eating them at all.
Have you tried magnum ice cream in almonds? It's really delicious. An ice cream that is so creamy, covered in Belgian chocolates and almonds!
Okay this is making me hungry.

Yes, we feel the same way with almond covered with chocolate, Toni.
I have yet to taste the magnum ice cream. It's out of stock , when i went to Puregold to buy some groceries.
Well, it maybe a bit expensive than the other local drumsticks, but maybe it's worth the try.

Try it Ardoy. It's by one of our local chocolate maker. It's in the supermarkets.
I discovered it by chance, when i was trying to choose a pack of chocolate bars that i could eat every after lunch, as dessert.
Now, i usually would have it as a snack. A glass of water after that, would really fill you up already.

Hmm, your username is a give away that you are a lover of almond, my friend.
Well, as long as we eat them in moderation, they will be good for our health.
Start scouting for the almond coated with dark chocolate. You will remember me when you taste it.

Yes, the dark chocolate tastes a bit bitter, but for me it's delicious. Besides, it has a healthy advantage than the ordinary one.
But the almonds, i guess anyone will like it indeed!

Actually, it has other variants. Raisins covered with chocolate and almond with white chocolate.
But the one coated with dark chocolate for me is the best. Try it. It's by our local chocolate maker. Just look for it in the supermarket, my friend.

Chocolate is definitely a lot of energy from food that, because it is very caloric. It, too, like any other, if eaten regularly, it is undoubtedly a pleasure, but .. attention, an advice: do not exaggerate! I recently had a discussion with a person who abused and accused her of physical distress. Every thing, in my opinion, if makes an abuse, it becomes harmful to our health.

Of course my friend, we have to eat them in moderation. Though, the dark chocolate is good for the heart, too much of it can cause your blood sugar to go above the normal level.
And besides, it would already be too costly if you always eat it.

I am familiar with that and we share the same feeling. However, I prefer the chocolate coated raisins which is a lot cheaper, about half the price of the almonds. There are also packs with the combination of both chocolate covered almonds and chocolate covered raisins. Whenever, I go to the mall, I always treat myself to this snack food instead of eating at the fast food centers. I also love the chocolate covered marshmallows which can be purchased at the nearby stores. I just love chocolates.

Oh yes, i also tasted the chocolate covered raisins and they are good also and a lot cheaper. But it's the almond coated ones that really caught my taste.
The chocolate coated marshmallows are already popular when i was still a kid. Our father would always buy them for us, as pasalubongs.
