And welcome to myLot. I'm not American but I'm happy to be a friend. You'll be able to improve your English by interacting with friends from all over the world here. It's a great site to make friends, learn, as well as earn.

Welcome Softman and Nihao. I'm from Canada, and love making friends from all over the world. I know very little Mandarin, but am willing to learn. I hope you enjoy this site, and make plenty of friends! Again welcome! Annette

Hi softman, welcome to mylot. I'm sure you will have a lot of fun if you become familiar with the environment here. For mylot members come from different countries or regions, we could share our views and experiences with each other. And the pure English environment makes us think in English and use the words and sentences which we learnt in school. Meanwhile, we could also earn some dollars as a gift for our own.
