I just heard on the radio that this movie is expected to profit between $85 million - $145 million. WOW! Honestly, I have HEARD of the books but I haven't even seen or heard any advertising for this movie at ALL. (I also don't watch Tv though, so that probably helps).
Is there are a lot of hype to this movie?
Are you going to see it opening weekend?

All the hype around this movie has really made me a little more resistant to it - kind of like the Twilight series. I don't know why, but the more hype that surrounds something, the less interest I have it it. Some of the stuff I've seen & heard about the Hunger Games looks interesting, so I ordered the book from Amazon and I'll give it a try. But, on the other hand, a lot of things have made it sound pretty cheesy & lame. So I guess we'll see!

the media has been in a frenzy for months over this movie.
I was reading a review on yahoo and the actress on there is actually from Louisville, Kentucky and her parents did not want her to become an actress.
So she definately followed her dream!

I was able to see the trailer while I was watching TV but I am not done with the book yet so for now I do not intend to watch the movie just yet. Probably next week. It might ruin my mood to finish the book. Though I find the book interesting but you know how movie versions are, sometimes they are different from the actual book. One example is Percy Jackson and the lightning thief.

I really want to- even in Imax, but the price is just too high...So I will just wait for a dvd copy and watch that. I hope the movie is as good as the trailer though- many fans says the book is great too. SO this movie might be one of the best this year.

As what I always read, I really think there's a lot of hype to it,
but I cannot feel like, not like hype like Twilight. But I'm definitely
going to see it this weekend. I loved the books so I'm very much
curious about how they're going to portray it in film. I have a lot
of expectations about it.

Me and my husband want to see Hunger Games. I was going to read the book but being pregnant and taking care of a toddler has run a tole on me wanting to read instead I sleep. So I'm looking forward to going out to the movies this weekend and see something. My husband loved the book my mom gave it to him a year ago for Christmas to read because he loves to read.
I hoping its not to busy this Saturday at the movie theater we are doing and early wedding anniversary even though its next weekend. Great grandparents have already chosen to watch the little one this weekend.
