Do you let the money in your Paypal build up?

I used to transfer the money into my bank account, from my PayPal after getting paid for just one thing - even if that was just $5 or even less! Now I have decided that due to poor spending habits, I am going to wait until it piles up a little bit (from MyLot, eBay, and other online earning sites) to send it over. How about you? Do you withdraw your money right away from your PayPal or do you let it build up?

Ya, I too let build up! Too bad we don't earn anything for having money sittng there! I know Paypal has some kind of money market which pays some interest but only for USA residents!

Withdrawing your money from it will only cause you to spend it right away, since I do believe that Paypal is a trusted payment processor, i let my money be saved on it until I badly need my balance. As for now, I let it build up in there for my future needs.

Plus, it will save you on some transaction fees. Sometimes, we don't notice the small fees for small transactions that are done often, usually adds up and if you mind it, they slice the part of your earnings.

We dont have options. It's transferred automatically to our bank account daily. Paypal's policy towards Indians doesn't allow spending without a credit card. Doesn't allow to build up either.

Yes, I do. I have some money since in my paypal account from last year. I had all that money in my paypal account to pay for Christmas. I did not use all of it so now saving it for birthdays I have to buy this year if I need it.

I try to build it up before I transfer it. But the smallest transfer I did was just $20. I do a little game with my bank account and PayPal. I transfer money to round off whatever is on the account. The following month, when I've gained a little bit of interest, it would go up to a few dollars, and a few cents. I would then do the same thing from my PayPal to round it up.

For me, I would let it build up the money I earn from any “paid-to program”. At first, I always withdraw money from Paypal, but I realize at the end, that the source of money I get is only for extra money. You know, like “paid-to program” that pays a cent and it took for how many months before reaching a minimum pay out, unlike “real job online” which is they pay you every month and it pays you real money. I am not going to wait for the money in paypal to build it up if it pays you real money. But if it “paid-to program”, I will wait for the money to build it up in my paypal account, so that if I have already earn a massive amount of money from any “paid-to program”, I can already withdraw it from paypal.

I try to let it build up as there are many more online shopping sites that let you pay through PayPal. When I started here with myLot 6 years ago eBay was about the only place you could spend your PayPal dollars not so nowadays.

I am trying to save money in my paypal as well. I usually save up the little bit of money to pay for my childrens lunch money. So when they get low I usually have something in there that I can put tward it. Otherwise I am saving for a window to be replaced in the living room.

I will usually let the money in my PayPal account accumulate. That way, it is there if I want to buy something on-line, and then it feels like I am getting something for free. Sometimes, if I need the money I will transfer it over.

Hi Maezee!. I never transfer them into my bank account. I usually just spend it right away in to buy something in internet who accept Paypal. Its usually just cheap stuff like eBook or seed. So you can say my Paypal account often empty than filled with money. I can easily spend it because I see it as revenue from side job and I can spend it for what ever I think will be useful and fun.

If I could do it, it would have been better for me. But my country does not allow it. Any amount accrued to may paypal account would immediately be transferred to my bank account in India, which has been registered with paypal.

I used to spend it on Ebay when I needed it,it never was more than 5-6 $,but now I decided to pretend that is nothing there,so it will add up.There are 2 sites that I requested payment and I am waiting to see how long till they pay. I am trying to put together money to buy an Ipad and I think, that at this rate, they will be at Ipad30 by the time I'll have the amount!!!!

I have not been paid for anything yet. But I do have a pay pal account and I'm thinking about just letting the money add up until I'm getting ready to need it for something. Me and my husband were talking about taking a big trip some time this summer. We figured if we save up money in my PayPal account for this trip then we would not be timpted to spend the money on other things that we really don't need. I have a bad habbit of that I love to spend spend spend every chance I get lol.

At present I don't have any money in my Paypal account.I had joined Neobux nearly a couple of years ago and now I have joined Mylot. As soon as I reach the payout in these two sites,I will withdraw the money from Paypal. This is because I need money now.But actually I want to let my money in Paypal build up.Now I am trying to create an alternative source of income. As soon as I create it,I would let my money in Paypal build up so that I may use it properly to fulfill my requirements.

I try to let it build up but we usually end up needing it, to be honest. There have been several times where the money I had in paypal paid a bill. Last year i used all of my online earnings to buy cloth diapers. Right now I have been letting things build up, hopefully I will be able to save this money and add it to our savings.

I only do a few sites, like mylot, a very low paying chat site, and a social network. I used to just let it get $1.00 in there and take it out. Now I think I may let it build, depending on the amount. If it's just Ten dollars I'll wait, but if I need it I'll withdraw it either way. I'm hoping every month to atleast have $20.00 in tehre, and thus I'll continuously withdraw it.

I let it grow some but over a lot. for if I buy something over the internet it comes right out of my paypal since it is already there and not have to wait longer when it comes direct from the draw from bank to paypal again and sent. it takes longer in processing that way so if I leave a small amount there enough for to buy elsewhere it goes faster in processing.

Yes, I have to build up the money first in my Paypal because the high withdrawal fees. It is a fixed fees of Rp16.000 (around $2) every time I made a withdrawal, so I prefer to build up the money first and just withdraw it by the time it has reached 30 - 50$
