Are you photogenic?

I think one factor that can make someone really good in pictures is the person's eyes. If they are expressive, they would really look good. And the rest is up to the photographer (and the editor) haha

Sadly I am not good photogenic and I am not good looking also. But it would be too much if I complain of what I have. When I pose for the camera I would just have to wear my best smile. As many people say, there is no ugly face when you smile. We have to learn to love the things we have and make the best out of it.

I don't think I am. I believe I'm far-genic. I tend to look good when seen faraway. hahaha... I bet most people are too.

I do a lot of modeling, so I guess I'm photogenic. But not always! There are bad angles and bad lighting sometimes and I will hate quite a few photos of me. Even celebrities can look amazing on a magazine cover and not so great when their picture is taken while they are shopping at the grocery store. Personally I get a little camera shy and really critical of photos of me. Maybe I'm just picky!

i HATE getting my picture taken because i always have my eyes shut because of the brght flash. bright lights really bother me.

I am not photogenic and never have been but it is much worse now that I am older. I have never translated well into two dimensions. One of the best photos that was ever taken of me was actually for a passport when I was in my early forties. It used to be that I looked much better in person than in photos but, unfortunately, these days photos and real life are much closer to each other; sun damage has taken a toll. By sun damage I don't mean wrinkles since I am relatively wrinkle free(probably because I never smoked), but mean blotchy and brown spots, etc.

I feel, not confident, when I was in the picture. Because, I always look at the photos of me, very ugly. I always felt dissatisfied with the photos. But, I am very satisfied with the results of my wedding photos. I look very different.

No, I am not photogenic. I never liked getting my photo taken. Even when I was a bit younger. There is just something about myself and pictures that do not mix in any manner whatsoever. Whenever I look at pictures of myself, I just absolutely shudder and wonder how I could really look this awful. I think that the school pictures are the biggest offenders. There are three pictures that never look good for anyone I think. Mug shots, school pictures, and driver's license photos. I think that really avoid photos because I just really don't well. If you can make me look good in a photo, then you are the best photographer in the world. However, that would be a case of making chicken salad out of...well you know. Photos have been something that I have not mixed well with. I cringe when I see a camera, because it is time to duck and run right for cover, to avoid the evilness of the camera.

on my own i think I'm not a photogenic but some of my friends, relatives said that I'm a photogenic but for me I'm both.. ;)because if you think you are beautiful in camera or in personal you are beautiful. beauty starts with you .

I think most people are, a good photographer can make great pictures of everybody but you need an eye for that. I can make great pics so I prefer behind the camera instead of in front of it. Nowadays it's easy to make pictures with digital an also there is a lot of editing afterwards (all kinds of ways). So it's not really about being photogenic anymore or being a great photographer but about being great with photoshop or ...

I think I'm not photogenic at all. At least I look totally different on photos than in the mirror, even if I reverse the pics, lol. I don't like them. I haven't seen good photos of myself, except for those I made Unfortunately everyone can tell that they are self-made pics.

I do not know whether I am phototgenic or not. I mean, sometimes, y pics are really great that I go crazy about the pics. Sometimes I really feel that it is not me at all. May be it all depends on the photographer and how he/she takes the pic.

hi, i could say that i am not a photogenic person because i am not beautiful,because when my friends and me taking some photos i need some reaction or a smile that makes my face good in the pictures.i am really wishing to be a photogenic so i dont need to make my face good in camera.

I am very photogenic. The only photos of me can only be found in my mother’s house. I do not like how I look in photos and even in my childhood I am crying in most of the photos because I was rebelling against being photographed. I guess some people are just born that way. My sister on the other hand cannot get of herself. Her face book wall is filled to the brim with photos she has been taking from childhood till now.

Hmm.. That depends on which angle you are shooting from! haha just kidding. Well, to be honest I think there are times that I am photogenic. I really like close up shots and stuff like that. But if you are shooting my wrong angle, I won't look as good. I think everyone is photogenic in their own way. We prefer different angles and different poses since we have different face shapes. So in short, I believe everyone is photogenic and beautiful in their own way :) happy mylotting.
