Sad News for a few People here

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. Yes, she was a great person and I was friends with her but couldn't download her website she had because of my computer. Otherwise, I would have known about this and now I'm feeling sick. I did not know about the cancer. I loved it when she came here and did her fascinating stories and she gave me wonderful advice all the time. RIP Darkwing, I will always remember you and your loving peaceful ways.

I am so sorry gabs, the name sounds familiar, but she wasn't a friend here, but that doesn't mean we never connected. I also don't think this will be removed, at least I hope not, because how else is everyone going to know what happened? One person can't PM someone's friends, especially if they have many friends.. Anyway, I am sorry for your lose and for what mylot has lost, she sounds like she was a wonderful person..

hi gabs I remember seeing her posts here I am not as active for the last 4 yrs and she is not on my friends list but I hope she rests in peace and her loved ones/friends stay strong

ive really never learned to deal with it except to cry my heart out. ive had several family members go with that dreaded plague in the past few yrs. my aunt was just diagnosed with it last month. inoperable lung cancer. its said she may last a year. i hope she doesnt suffer much is all i can pray for. shes more like a mother to me. we just have to work through the greif. my John passed with it 10yrs ago and i still cry for missing him some times. its us thats left behind that suffer

Thank you for letting us know about this. So often friends just disapear and we never know what happened to them. My prayers and blessings are with you and all her other friends and family.

Hi, being new here I'm not familiar with her at all, but it is always a sad thing to loose a friend to a disease especially to cancer. I have known several+ with it and some have lost their lives, & my dad had it twice. The best lady in the world online that I know has it now, she was just operated on to remove the tumors but still has to undergo treatment. She has been the kindest person to me online other than a few others who have shown me their kind side as well. I am sorry for your friend, and for your loss. My prayers are out to you all who knew her.

I have been wondering about Darkwing. I will say that a burden shared is often lighter, and we will miss her. We are missing you too, my friend. I trust things are on an even keel for you.

the same as you I have sorely missed the country walks she tok us on in her posts here. and miss her more she als o helped me when DOnald passed.

I am so sorry Gabs. It is so hard when a good friend or anyone you know passes away. I have a good friend whom I have known since high school and she was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago. It has been so hard for her and her and her family. She has been in remission several times, only for the cancer to reappear. I know that it is only a matter of time and there are days when she is in so much pain that it makes me cry to see her this way. But I will share something with you that she has told me many times. When I go please do not cry for me because I will always be here in your heart and in your memories and if you must cry then let it be tears of happiness because I will no longer suffer. I hope this helps you in some way.

Dear Gabs This really shakes me deep within. Though I did not know about our friend lotter - Darkwing - but her sad demise does bring out the sad issues that we face on the Internet World. And this raises my worries for at least two of my dearest friends - HWG and frajil who have been absent from Mylot since ages now and I have no way to find out any information about them. All I can say for Darkwing is I join you in your prayers and thoughts of the departed soul and RIP Darkwing.

I remember her vaguely. I don't think she was on my friends but I know I've commented on some of her posts... I am so sorry for your loss. Cancer runs in my family and I have watched many fight the battle and either win or lose. They have now been testing me as well for I have become terribly ill recently. But I'm getting off subject... May she rest in peace and may you find peace with her passing.

I am so sad to hear this Gabs. Thank you for telling us. She was my friend when I was Oreo. I'm not sure if we connected under my new name. I'm so sorry. RIP Darkwing.

Dearest Gabs first of all my heartfelt condolences to you. Its always so sad and heartbreaking to lose a good friend but its especially heartbreaking when you know someone will not be able to fight this disease any longer. I dont think I knew Darkwing but I am glad you had such a great friend in her. You ask how do you deal with it. Hmmmm you sure know I lost my heart mom July 2011 to cancer as well. All right she lived up to the nice age of 80 years old but that didnt make me miss her less. She had given me tons and tons of encouragement in the years I knew her and I tried to be an encourager to her as well when I got word of the diagnosis. The first days I was like hit on the head. As we didnt have much time from when we knew to the memorial service in a town 5 hours drive from us I wonder how we managed to get the heart of carnations to go with her to her final place of rest in time.... I cried through all of the Memorial cause I missed her so much. Even almost cried into the coffee I was hand filtering for my husband one morning. I then said to myself she would not want me to cry so I just did my best to stop. It was and still is very therapeutic for me to write a diary to her as if she still was alive. This seemed to help me cope with the situation. If you need help coping you know I am only an e mail away from you........ hugs

I've been gone from here for so long...and it's killing me to know that I won't be able to "converse" with her here anymore. My heart and prayers go out to all of Darkwing's family and friends. In answer to your question, the only way that I can deal with a loss like this is through prayer and the help of friends and family. Love you sweetie...I'm here for you.

Hi gabs, So sorry to hear this sad news. My friend, it is never easy to deal with the passing of a loved one but everyone has to deal with it at some time in thrir life. Darkwing must have gone through a great deal of suffering and stress since she was first diagnosed with this disease and now she is free from all of that. Hope is also a great consolation and perhaps you can allow yourself to hope that somewhere, somehow, you will meet again. Let her go and remember the happier times. Blessings.

Its indeed a sad news am sad to hear of the demise of Darkwing i had not been around for sometime but shes one of my friends here that i have wonder where they are.May her soul REST IN PEACE i really wish shes still around

Darkwing is not one of my friends list but I have seen darkwing's good post and comments here in mylot. Be strong my friend and though she is not one of my friends, I still pray for her long journey.

i feel sad that she is gone, but she is out of pain now and is with the ones she loved, RIP Darkwing xx
