how important is it for girl to know self defense today?

As a woman, it is really important. It's a must know in every woman. Learning self-defense is the best way for us to protect ourselves at times of crisis. How I wish that we were taught on the basic martial arts.

Yes, better safe than sorry. Anybody can become a victim, especially young girls, so I think it would be a good idea. There should be more opportunities to learn self defense.

Basic self defense is important to everybody not just for the girls. Of course, since the females has lesser strength, then they are more prioritized than men. But if all people living in our planet is good and will not commit any crimes, then learning self defense techniques will not be needed. I hope this time will come.

yes, it is utmost important in today's world to know the self defense techniques. my small niece is getting this training to help her face the world. i do not know those however always felt the need to train myself. it is required not only to fight when required but also u boost the confidence level, to work independently without any fear
