Which is the best for your hips / abdomen?

My problem areas are clearly my hips & abdomen area. Lately, after just recently starting a somewhat consistent work-out regimen, I have been going to the fitness center & doing 20 minutes on the elliptical machine, 20 minutes on the stationary bike, and 20 minutes on the treadmill (just moderate walking right now, can't run yet). Eventually I will bump it up to 30/30/30 but I am not quite ready for that yet.
I enjoy all three, and find the elliptical to be definitely the most challenging and it's definitely where I break the most sweat.
I am wondering - which of these three do you think is BEST for working out your hips/abdomen area? I'm not sure that any of them are, but if one is more than the other, I think I will have to focus on doing that one in particular more than the others.
What do you think?
And what is YOUR workout regimen like?

Hi maezee,
Honestly, I'm of the belief that when losing weight/toning up through working out that no-one part of the body gets all the attention so that fat is burned from that area only. I'd say that all three of the machines you are using are just as beneficial as the other because ultimately you are burning calories which will be distributed throughout the whole body. I read somewhere (can't remember where though) that the areas that have the most fat are the areas that are 'attacked' first, but generally the weight comes off all over. I hope I am answering your question :)
I walk a few miles at least 5 days a week, that's about the only exercise I do. When I feel that I need additional 'help' I have a really good exercise DVD by Davina McCall, it gives some workout!
