A Florida woman has 733 pairs of converse all star shoes! I didn't realize they made that many styles but I suppose why not?!?! As trends change so do colors and patterns and looks so to keep up like any other wearable item. However, I'd like to know where she could keep 733 pairs of shoes in an average home?!?1 And I think she could of spent the money more wisely on something other than converse shoes. Could you ever phantom wearing so many shoes? How many pairs of shoes do you have and are any chuck taylor all stars? I have one pair of tie dyed all stars, the only pair I've ever owned and let me tell you they are ok but comfort.. not really.

I would love 700 pairs of shoes, and the closet to hold them and outfits to match.. but they wouldn't all be the same thing!
I like shoes, but don't own too many anymore, though my collection is increasing slowly with work. I have 2 pair of sneakers, one of those pair really needs to be tossed but I hang on to them for dirty work type things. I have 2 pair of work shoes, brown and black, and a pair of cute silver things that hurt my feet the first time I wore them so haven't worn them since. I have 1 pair of flip flops now but will probably get more through the summer, and 2 pair of boots.. one wintery type the other dressy, neither in good condition. No Converse what so ever.. not that I'm against them, they just aren't really my style.

I think we all have that pair we hang onto for dirty jobs and they aren't quite junky enough to toss.
Brown and black are all you need for work but something else neutral like sliver, gold, tan would work. Don't you hate when the cute shoes are not comfy? Sometimes I wonder why make them if you can't wear them for a longer period of time w/o the wearer regretting it.
Like I said how much space could all those shoes take up and she'd have to have a system so that she knew wich ones she wore and which ones she didn't.

i like chuck's-and i do have some-but i can't fathom having 700 pairs no matter the kind.i usually have 10 pairs max,and that's only because certain occasions (work,going out,etc..)call for different types.
I only have a few pairs though, like 6-8 pairs, since i buy news ones if some of them are already broken.

That was cool! converse should give credit with this woman! LOL. I love chucks but was only able to use 3 pairs. I like it wearing it that some heels. LOL.

Wow! that is amazing! I would love to have that many pair of shoes too! Converse is definitely one of my favourite brand and I will always have one in my cupboard. It's the best comfy shoes that I have. Really love some of the designs that she has in the collection but couldn't find them anywhere. :(

I love those kinds of shoes too, but they don't love me. I cannot wear Converse because of the fact that my heals are oddly shaped. It really stinks because I would love to be able to wear them.

Isn't it converse that now allows you to customize your sneakers? If so that is probably where she got most of them, by customizing them herself. With all those shoes you think they would give her a discount on any others she may buy. Of course there comes a time when she may not be able to wear them because as you said they aren't comfortable, and while they are flat, it may not be the safest thing to wear for an aging person.
I had two pairs at one time, given to me by a friend. I thought about customizing my own pair but they aren't the most comfortable things, and so not something I'd be apt to grab and go with.
Now Vans, they are comfy and if I Customize them I definitely would and buy myself a pair.

Wow! That is alot of shoes! I don't have near that many and not one pair I do have is the all stars brand. My girls really like them though. They have two or three pairs of them a piece. My tennis shoes are sketchers. I like the way they feel. I also have a pair of Harsh that I had never heard of before going to California. They were on sale in a sports store and I liked them. Avias are pretty nice too...I think I still have a pair of those too. I wear my steel toes so much that when I am at home, I try not to wear shoes if I can help it..LOL.

My son collects shoes. He definitely did not get that from his parents. I think it came from his love of sports and fascination of designs in soccer and basketball shoes. He keeps those that are already too small for him and dreams of having a collection of all the Air Jordan. I've seen some works where he draws his own shoes designs.

I love my Chuck Taylors (Converse), but 733 pairs... WOW! I have a black and white pair that go with most outfits, and that's all I need. Before this pair I had another black and white pair that I wore until they fell apart. I might enjoy having one or two other color options of Chucks, but if I were going to have 733 pairs of shoes, I'd want to have a selection of every type of shoe. Chucks, sneakers, cute flats, pumps, wedges, flip-flops, boots, everything. I like variety. I think that Florida woman is depriving herself of variety. And she might be just a little crazy, lol.
