Diane Sawyer and Ever

I realize Diane Sawyer of ABC World News seems ancient in many ways but I don't think she has been around four billion years. So how can she say that a high temperature of 86 in one of the North mid-west states yesterday is the highest for that date ever? She is supposed to be a highly respected news reporter, yet she makes statements like that for which she cannot possibly have the facts to support them. Diane, the correct and accurate reporting of that would have been that it was the highest on record. It really makes one wonder just what other misinformation she is reporting to us on World News.

It is one of my pet peeves and I just get tired of these news people and weather people being so cavalier in their reporting. It really makes one wonder about their accuracy on more important news items. Really, is it so hard to say on record rather than ever?

She was probably going by records from the US weather service. If you don't care for what she says, watch the Fox News unfair and unbalanced channel.
