What's your facebook status today?

I would just like to know. It seems everyone changes their status everyday, from "I'm sick" to "God knows what..." or cheesy stuff like "If i could re-arrange the alphabet I put U and I together or You are the only problem I want to have -- forever" to the nonsense "Oh come on! Give me a break!".
Do you based your status on what you really feel? What's with it that makes friends in your network comment or like, then unlike? :)

Haha.. yeah, I still read that kind of status on my timeline.. :) I don't update any status on facebook anymore.. and I don't really do it on twitter as well.
What I do with facebook and twitter is promoting links to my writings. I update status (which is not link) on Twitter sometimes.. most of the time, I just retweet.. Lol. But for facebook, it is pure links promoting.. :)

Oh I see your using Facebook for link building or simply for search engine optimization purposes. I can sometimes relate to that when I put the links of my newly created web projects for my friends to check out.

well i dont have any new status for the moment. but i think for other people they post their status every now and then because they want others to know what they are doing. one of the essential components of a social networking site is to know whats happening to your friends through these status that they frequently update.

Look, dear friend, I'm not a Facebook-dependent, which is why I go on the site for only 2 Flashgames or even to respond to any messages sent to me by a friend. Hardly I added a sentence to the status. Also because every day more or less I could just write almost the same thing! The assurance I can give is to have the status of the chat, always offline, because often have no desire to engage in conversations with others. Already from this you should understand, what I could write to the status inherently "What are you thinking?", Etc.

i haven't been updating my status lately. i don't really like posting so much on facebook. but my latest one was about how i missed the summer heat on the beach but now, also trying to enjoy the cold weather of Hong Kong... and that was about a month ago already.

I don't always post statuses, but when I do they are usually informative. Sometimes I will post a picture I've found etc, these are usually from the funny groups on facebook. I like to express myself through them, instead of using words.

I don't regularly have Facebook status. I only post a Facebook once
every two or three months. I'm not an avid status-poster.
I feel like whatever it is that I post, it should be important
and not non-sense or just wanting attention. I want it to be relevant so
I just sometimes post status. Not always.

My status is always about what I feel or think of something that day. Today for me my facebook says I'm looking forward to this weekend. Date night tomorrow with my husband. Can't wait till after next week. My last visit to the doctor before I start having ultrasounds every 4 weeks to see my second baby develop over the next couple of months till he or she is her. How excited we re to find out if we are having another girl or boy. That my husband thinks its a girl and I say its a boy. Can't wait till after the next 4 to 6 weeks to find that out.

There are no statuses there for me yet today, I haven't been there much so far. This morning I was out of the house for a few hours or so and busy otherwise also. Yesterday one was about Facebook itself and other one about American Idol. I got alot of comments on both which is rare, LOL. I base statuses on what I feel, yes I do. I'd like to be funnier at what I put up on there though.

yes sometimes. and today I have three status. I think it is useful for me. let me share my experience. when I didn't have anyone to share my problem, I didn't see any one to see what happened to me. That's the only one way i could do. I make a status, and I read many friends comment me. they are far, but they are like stars. we don't always see them but they always be there. when we knew nearest people didn't care to us, they are know what they should do to us.maybe they are not real, but we can take the positive things that are life.
we shouldn't always need their comment or share status, post let us give time for them to give solving and smile for their status.
