Where to go this Holy Week!

Guys holy week is fast approaching and the mood for summer is definitively on I am just wondering to go...what is your preference guys? suggest one for me too because I actually have a 5mos old baby and I am looking for a place to go to where in it is also conducive for us as a family. I am considering going to the beach, but if I will go what should I do, consider and bring ( i am actually a first time mom so your opinion counts) I would also like to enjoy the summer while it last because last summer I was not able to enjoy it since i am at home and pregnant and cant do everything I want to do including taking a long dip in the beach. Please advise.....

Being first time mom really bring a lot of changes. You need to consider your baby before going elsewhere especially this Holy week. I remember that we went home in our province together with my son though he is already 10 months that time and safe to have travel.
I think, your summer would be definitely different from last year. Having long dip in the beach will not that possible because of your baby. Provided that you have nanny, you can do it.
The first time we had beach is last may 2011 during the company outing. Me and my wife brought our son. Quite hard to have baby on the outing. You need to bring all the stuffs needed like diapers and other cleaning stuffs, milk and milk bottles, lots of baby clothes, and most important is his water.

asomencil is right! Having a baby had really altered my way of living particularly my way of taking a break or vacation. I am a mother of a 3 year old boy and is really takes a lot effort to go out with him and my husband. I do all the preparation and there is a number of things to put into a big bag as mentioned by our friend asomencil. Well, what matters most this Holy Week is that the whole family is together in recollecting the goodness of our Lord for the whole family. For as long as you all be enjoying, you may go wherever all of you consent to go to. I am but particular in going to beach resort and or a place surrounded by trees and other part nearby is beach during a Holy Week. It is nice for me gazing at the nature God created and thanking Him for everything and everyone He has been giving me especially my kid and husband who are with me on such vacation. Bonding with my small family in this simple way is great. Better try to get a nanny so you can enjoy taking a break because having a vacation away from home but doing the whole thing of babysitting alone can still be stressful.

You are right that Holy Week is supposed to be spend by remembering our Lord. So you must spend it religiously and better if you have it with your family.

I will take that, thanks so much guys for responding here your inputs and experiences definitely affects my decision making...thank you and I will spend my holy week as holy as possible and enjoy at the same time because I will be having my family with me by that time, thanks guys.
