How many times have you found yourself thinking, or saying this? You find your life so busy that you end up being gone from like 9 in the morning until late at night, or having so much going on you are falling asleep trying to get anything done you really need to do? Personally I have been there many times, and this was my story the last 2 days actually. Finally finding time online today just relaxing and coming in here and posting as I can.
But in reality, how often do you wish you had more time to be active in here? Or when you can find yourself giving up sleep, etc. that is much needed just to be here? Does this site continue to be one of the most sought after places you want to be?
Just wondering how others in here cope with life being so busy, and trying to make and find time to be active in here all the time as well.

I am here as often as I can be, even if it is only for a moment or two. This weekend will be that way. I worked today and will work the next three days. I am going to go spend the day with a friend on Monday, but we will probably get to be online some. I met her on this site and another, and we became friends, and only live about thirty miles apart. I still love to come here.

Well, it is always a pleasure to see both of you still active in here and posting when you can. I know life can get in the way, but myLot is still always a Great place to be.

I know when I came back to being active, I saw that you were here a lot out of all of the mylotters I recognized. You seem to be the most active and I look forward to seeing your comments and responses as well as discussions even if I don't comment back.

Ha. Ha. Ha. I have to laugh. I know you working types are busy.I am retired and have health issues. I am online a good protion of the day. I am writing, responding on here, researching, playing games on Facebook, checking out other sites, etc. If I could give you some of my time I sure would. If I led the busy life I was living back in about 2004 now I would be in a mental ward. Just can't do it anymore.

Well my friend, I wish I had more time to just relax. But since my main goal is to eventually be in Business for myself with the things I do online/offline instead of working for someone else, this keeps me quite busy for sure. I do know that I do still try and find time to be active here when I can and really enjoy the time I can spend here.

Well, today is one of those catch up days here. I find myself wanting to be actively busy here posting back instead of Facebook, etc. Did stuff with my online/offline business and will do more in a bit.

It's always a pleasant surprise to see your responses here. I think all we can do is what we can.

I'm not so much struggling to find time to be on mylot as I struggling to find the want to be on mylot. I'm on Mylot and Gather and I'm so behind with all the notifications that I'm kind of like, eh what is the use? Sometimes I can't get motivated to get online.

I can relate with this one, as I have had them many times. So far this month I have only made a little bit here. Today's activity here will probably beat the rest of the month so far. Sometimes it just has to be a certain someone posting something that makes me want to continue posting in here for sure.

My life isn't all that busy, I'm just so tired from all I've been thru, chemo and operations. So I wish I didn't need a nap every day and that the nap wasn't about 2 hours long each time.

Well, I can relate with needing a nap and wishing you did not have too as you have other things you need to get done. This is how I feel a lot of the time especially on my days off. It is not a Fun experience for sure.

I find time for mylot. I am not always that busy, most of the time I only work up to 8 hours a day if even that. So I come on before work or after work, or even both. This has become part of my de-stresser and I enjoy being able to see my earnings grow. When I first started working again I was never on this site but for the past few months I've made it a point to be in here. I am hoping to incorporate it in so I can make it a sort of part time job.
I just miss the old mylot and people who we used to have fun with. I know some of them are not of this world anymore, while others just have decided this site isn't worth it anymore.
I wish we could prove them wrong.

So true, so true. There are a lot of people that are no longer active here that used to be active members here who we really do miss, and wish that they could come back and at least post every once in a while, just to let us know that they are OK. Like you have said, it is easy to allow things to get in the way, and some days I really post more than others, but it always a pleasure to be able to come here.

Hi Tina,
I know the feeling all to well. Between Randy's doctor's appointments, walking to the grocery store (I try my best to have Randy not drive unless necessary) and getting my Master's Degree online I have been busy myself. I was hoping to make payout this month, but there is no way I can. In addition I also have house to clean and next weekend I am going out of town. It has been rough, but I am trying very hard.

Well, I just barely reached payout last month myself. If the month would have only been 30 I would have missed it by only 5 cents. Since then it seems like until today I have hardly been active in here at all. And the next 2 days I will be really lucky to post much in here so life does many times get in the way.

My life is really busy and I find it hard to find time to come back to Mylot. Sometimes I acces it from my phone which is handy but I find it sometimes can take a long time to load pages & it becomes frustrating and time consuming. I do wish I could visit on a daily basis, but it is hard...

Well so far this month even with my busy schedule, I have been able to come in here and post each day. Somedays are better than others in the amount I can get posted in here, but I have been here, and trying to respond back to the discussions I have started when I can like this one as well.

I will admit that I've gotten kind of out of the habit of coming here, but mostly because I've been busy elsewhere online, just not a pay site...
I still come here, but I've been so busy with "real life" that I just want to veg when I get home.
Last night, for example, I took the new roommate to the ER and didn't get home until well after 1 a.m.

Yes, I can relate with getting so busy sometimes that it is quite hard to find time to be here. It happens for me many times too. I am lucky if I get to respond back to like 3 people many times it seems. But life goes on, and I come here when I can.

Hi Tina. Yeah, I sometimes feel that way. There are days, however, when I'm not that busy, yet when I check in here, I can't seem to find a discussion I can respond to (usually when my brain is taking a break). Other times, I have the energy to engage in it, but then more pressing chores demand my attention. I think the only solution is to COMMIT to carving off a reasonable amount of time each day (or week, whichever is suitable) to myLot. I need to do this.

Well, this is what I have had to do. On my days off I am here more than any other time of the week, and days like today when I am not really feeling the Best and called in sick. It is always great to be here when I can and to be able to keep up with what is going on everywhere as well.

Well, it is easy to loose track of time while posting here in myLot. Especially if you have a certain number of discussions you are wanting to respond back too, etc. I have been known to do this many times myself, but as long as you are having Fun here it is many times hard to stop.

I can log in MyLot, whenever and wherever. Because, I logged in MyLot, use cell phone. I responded to your discussion, when I was waiting in line at the hospital. So, whenever I can have time to login, I can login, as long as I carry a cell phone.

Yes, that is the Great thing about having a Cell phone with internet access as even when I am away from home, and without WIFI somewhere, I can come and post some from my phone and be able to keep up with everyone that way as well.

To find more time in the day so that I could be more active here would be something that would be really nice. However, I've been able to find more time in the last few weeks because of the fact that when I got my new cell phone, I changed from having GPS on it to having unlimited internet. That means that when I'm away from home with my friends or at my son's baseball practice, I'm able to post on here if I want to.

Yes, having unlimited Internet on your Cell phone is great. I know many people who never really realize this until they have it. Personally I cannot imagine being with a Cell phone company and not have it. To me, this is one of the Best options to have. I know I post from here a lot on mine now as well.

I'm currently going through these kind of days. Just when I thought I should be active here, and raising up a lot of discussions (and maybe setting monthly monetary targets), I've fallen busy with other things. Not to mention, I've been feeling a little bit lazy too (maybe just tired from the other things I do).
Hopefully, I'd get busy posting discussions here soon.

Well, there are times it is hard to be here, and the last 2 months have just fallen short of what goal I have been trying to reach in here each month. So now I have been trying to make it a priority when I can to be here posting even if it is only for a short bit each day. I know I really miss this site when I cannot be here.

I have a lot of time in the world to be active on here but sometimes i just choose to stay in bed, enjoy watching a movie, enjoy doing my hobbies rather than being here.
But now i think i have bounced back again.
Previously i was too busy and couldn't find time being here and then when i suddenly had the time to do so i couldn't open mylot at all for some odd reasons.

Yes, I think we all have been there a time or two when everything tends to get so busy where we know we cannot be here, and then when we try to come here the site is being quite slow, etc. to frustrate us even a little more. But I know for me no matter what mood and time I have to be here, it is always worth it for sure.

That seems to be exactly how it has been for me recently too. I have tried to make at least enough time to be here for a few minutes each day to see what others have posted and I hope to get caught up this week on my responses and my unresolved issues.

Well, now it is the end of October, and I am busier than ever with all the Medical things going on, plus working full time so this really is limiting the amount of time that I can be here. But like you, I do try and come here as often as I can, and really enjoy interacting and responding back to others.

Yes, it is nice when you have the Free time to be able to post back in here. There are definately times when I have more Free time than some, and those seem to be the days I am able to spend more time here, and able to unwind and feel a little better as well.

Yes, I do agree with you. But we can't forget that LIFE simply happens. And sometimes with everything going on in our personal and professional lives, we just don't have the time! If only there were more hours in the day.... Like 48 for example. . I guess the best we can do is pop on here when we can. Happy MyLotting!

Yes, our personal life does take presidence most times over anything else, even if we wish we could be here in myLot posting. Since many of us have Full time jobs, or kids it leaves sometimes hardly any extra time to be in here. But anytime we can be is truly worth it for sure.

I don't know; I guess I would if I had an iPad or iPod or digital mobile-device, which apparently accesses the Internet without recording all the info you run through it (to and from the Internet). That's the only way I can think the Internet works on digital mobile---leaving us old-school land-liners to carry the information-overload.
That's why it takes me so long to get to myLotting (and why I do it so rarely nowadays).

Well, I have a HTC which I can access the internet, etc. on, but since the screen is so small it is hard to use it to post here in myLot. Would be nice though if they would make an ap to use on my phone and a way to make the print bigger, so I do what I can when I get time.

I have just limited time to be online specifically on mylot. Life is full of things to do and mylot is just one way to relax and feel the pulse of the community in this land called mylot. I sleep and have a good time. I wake up when it's time for me to wake up, doing the things that are on my way to do. Making time for everything takes planning but it's worth, knowing that we can be a blessing to others such as you and some others.

Yes, we can be a Blessing to others whether we are on here posting in myLot, at church, at work, etc. That is one of the reasons I actually enjoy being a part of myLot here just to be able to share in my triumphs, struggles and joys, and hope somehow my words here can inspire someone else as well.
