Do Your Company / School Has A Facebook Page or Group?

Do your company where you work, or school where you attend have a facebook account? Did it the official one ( Created by the company ) or it the unofficial one ( create by one of the employee )? Did you participate in it? Did you make a bad comment on it, or you praise the company?
As for me, My Company have an official facebook page and an unofficial facebook group. I join the official facebook page, but i never participate in it. Since it is also receive customer as part of the fans. There are a strict rules at my company that limits what we could said on the page, so to avoid unimportant trouble, i choice not to comment at all there.

My company has a facebook page, just like you I joined the page but I don't participate much. I just visit it to check for updates and events, nothing else. I don't like posting there, I have co-workers who do but often get into some troubles with other people involved.

Well thanks jgirap. Can you tell us who the one who make the facebook pages? Is it your friend, or it is from the college staff. It is fun if you can use the facebook page to the fullest. If you could have a fun from just joining a facebook page, than it already serve its purpose.

LOL, yes that is very funny and fun my friend. But make sure, if you put picture like that, there is no teacher inside the page. Because if there is one, your friend will be in a serious trouble. Well thanks for sharing this information to all of us my friend. Have a nice sunday.

Oh i see adhyz82. From what i heard from your comment, i think you are the one that responsible for either Public Relation or Information Technology department. Since usually those two that are responsible for making facebook page. Anyway, thanks for the respond, we really appreciate it.

My school has a Facebook page. but i think my school should have a facebook Page to introduction with students, father and elder brother of students and students can expressed their idea. ...

Yes, they have an official page. But they didn't let anyone to post anything in that page :p. We can only make comment inside their status update.
And other than official page, there are lots of unofficial ones. Well, it's a college, anyway. So, it's not surprising at all..

Oh i see, well it usually like that since making people able to write anything in their wall could end up damaging the school / company reputation. Because if people start complaining in their wall, people who see it will think that all of it;s complain are true.

Yes, facebook page for a company or a school should give us more information about our company and our school. But it should function more than that. It should be a place where we can communicate, either it is with student to student, employee to employer or between other employee. Or customer to the company.

My school has an official Facebook page. I don't know who manages it. I don't participate much in it, like you.

I haven't worked outside the house for several years, so the last time that I worked outside the house, it really wasn't common for everyone to have facebook, so there was no official facebook page for the company that I worked for.
However, my daughter is in school now and the school district does have an official facebook page. I don't pay a lot of attention to it, except for when there is bad weather and I'm watching for updates as to whether or not there will be school.
