What an awesome series- starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Una Stubbs . I watched the entire 2 seasons in just 2 days- could have been one if I didn't start so late at night. I even love this more than the movie, it has comedy, drama- it's just so much fun to watch... Each episode was an hour and 30 minutes but it didn't even feel like it since it was quite exciting and kept you guessing until the end. It's a shame they only made 3 episodes per season and the 3rd one isn't starting yet.

I love this BBC Sherlock! I wish the season 3 will be here already. Well-scripted, apt editing and great acting in every episode. I just treat every episode a full movie so I have watched 6 movies already. :)
Plus the soundtrack is amazing!

Oh I am also a super fans of this BBC Sherlock Series! If anyone of you want to get started to watch this series I would definitely recommend the first episode of season 2 to you!I broke into tears when watching that episode not only because I am surprised by the ending but also it is so touching! After watching that episode I am charmed by Sherlock Holmes's humanity even though Benedict Cumberbatch is not really handsome lol.
When I did some research for this series, I found some comments complaining that the story is not creative enough because it just stuck to the original story. To me I can't comment on this as I haven't really read the original book, but I can tell is I am satisfied with this well scripted series. I really cant wait to watch the episodes of season 3 but unfortunately with reference to wikipedia, season 3 is still under production and will be aired on 2013!! I really can't wait that long because I wanna know why Sherlock still survives his falling!! SIGH!!

SOunds fun. I might check it out. They have made so many take offs on the original premise. I see that Benedict has been in a couple of recent movies. No Shirlock on DVD yet.

I saw the first few shows of season one recently. They were broadcast on a local public broadcasting station overnight so I had to record them. I haven't seen any other episodes though lately. I agree it's a great show. Does anyone know if Netflix or HULU stream it so that I can see other episodes?
By the way, there is an American show in development with a modern day Sherlock but his assistant is a female Dr. Watson (Lucy Liu). One thing that seems a bit perverse to me is that the show is going to be set in New York instead of London. Since the female Watson lives with Holmes, I also wonder what the eventual consequences of that might be.

Probably HULU will have it since it usually has everything. That is weird, making watson a girl- but I love Lucy Liu so I'll still watch it.. Maybe that is one way for Bromance (Sherlock/John) fans to be happy. I wonder what they'll name her, Joan? Joanna? jane?

hi lady1993
i too love the series, and yep its an amazing one and i love the way they portrait the characters and made them suit modern time...Benedict Cumberbatch plays the character of Sherlock flawlessly, i like his expression when he finds the answers..and his way of explaining...there are so many things that makes this series awesome and fantastic..i actually got this from a friend and when she gave me the 2nd season, she told me that the producers wont make the final one, but after seeing the third episode of the 2nd season, i was sure that they were going to make one more, i was thrilled ...cant wait for 3rd season

Just three words: Sherlock is amazing!
The last episode of season 2 is to fret about! I'm totally dying for season 3. If you want thrill, humor, sarcasm, wit, mystery, and some good-looking men (Benedict is hot!), then this is the series for you!
Justifiably a 2-thumbs up!! :D
