Heaviness and mild pain on middle chest

I wonder if any of you experience this kind of symptom that fades after a few seconds. I got it from too much lying on my stomach with pillow propped up on my chest because I have a low back pain. I also got it from lying on one side while sleeping. My mom does not want me to see a doctor because she thought that my chest muscles are just tired. I just put on some mentholated oil and massaged the affected area. If you experienced the same problem that you got from poor and prolonged faulty position, what are your home remedies for this kind of symptom?

Well, it could be from the way you slept. Or it could be gas pain as well. Or it could also be that you either over used some muscles that you have not used in a long time or just not have done physical work in a while. But, if it comes back, then I would go see a doctor.

Well, depending on how often this is happening, and if it just happens when you lie like this means if it is something you should be worrying about or not. I know I have been dealing with Chest pains on and off now for yrs. They even checked a yr. ago to make sure it was not my heart, and proved it is caused by Fibromyalga, but if the pain is bothersome and keeps on coming back, it could be worth going to a Doctor and being seen for.

I had this kind of pain in my chest too, after lying in the position you described, or after keeping my back bent for a long time. I was thinking about seeing the doctor first, but got suspicious that it must have been from the bad position. It went away next day. For me it got better after doing some light exercises.
