First Day of Vacation...

So today is my first day of summer vacation. I got back here in my hometown last night and was really tired. So i slept in a little during the morning and woke up by lunch time. I was really looking forward to the summer vacation, especially during the my finals week. Now that it's here, I don't know how to spend the time wisely. I haven't saved enough money to go on trips, and I don't want to ask my parents for money, since they already have too much on their shoulders. My tuition fee and my grandmother's hospital bills. I also couldn't go out to meet my friends here from my hometown. It suddenly started raining and until now the rain still hasn't stopped, it kind of pulls my energy and mood down.I was planning to start playing the piano again and start reading books. But now that I'm here, I can't seem to get the motivation to do as I had planned. I, unfortunately, am becoming a bum, which is what usually happens to me during vacation. I don't want to waste my summer vacation for nothing. I want to become productive. Hehe, any tips?

Try to look some part time jobs that some establishments offers during summers.Here in our town,our municipality offers summer jobs to some students who are in summer vacations.I my brother got some jobs last summer and do hope that he could get one again this summer.

yes i have a tips
first all, you should relax. it a vacation everyone is ok to relax and enjoy the moment. and if we want to productive in aur vacation. we must do planning. plan how many hour you spend to work and how many time you spend to relax in 24 hour of your day. and everything will be just fine if you can discipline.

Thank you for responding. Yes, I think I have to relax. And I have planned my activities for the summer. My problem is on the discipline part. I have to work on that one.

I am also excited for the summer vacation. I still have one final exam on Monday and I am currently cramming a review since I have been very lazy in the past few days. Anyway, I guess you start reading even online, you should convince yourself that you want to do something productive during this summer vacation. I personally plan to go back to the gym this summer and try new things that will be enhance myself.

last friday may daughter was very excited because that is the last day of her class. same with you. she told me that she can watch tv all day and play with her playmates without worrying her homeworks. im planning to enroll her in a voice lesson, so that i can do my online job when she is not around. you can do an online job also while you are surfing the net, for you to have an income . . The fact that you dont have enough money to used for your vacation I think that you should find some activities where you can make a difference like volunteer since there are lots of agencies that offers a good opportunities to enjoy your vacation at the same time make a difference without spending lots of money. By the way welcome to Mylot hope you gonna like your vacation here as well.
