I noticed that most born again Christians keep saying that religion cannot save a person from sins but his faith does. If that is the case then why they keep inviting people to join on their church and practice the faith. Why they keep insisting that changing religion cannot save you but Jesus Christ where infact if you decide to join in them you change your religion to follow their faith, their practice and their rules. They say that every religion has rules and that rules makes the believer to believe to something wrong meaning with that faith we are heading to something not good. I notice that they dont have saints they dont add the saints on their faith, they dont give importance nor pray and respect for the saints where infact catholic and orthodox does the saints. Do you think if they are telling the truth do we need to change our religion to be save like them? Is born again Christian is a religion. Do you think if you join on them and believe in Jesus Christ will you be save? Share your views.

Matthew 7:13-14 Today's New International Version (TNIV) 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
From this verse I have always understood that there is only one true religion. So we have to find that one. God will help us. All the best!

every religion out there is man made. if you have faith in anything then hold on to it and don't listen to those that tell you that you won't be forgiven if your don't join there religion or their faith. i personally have no faith in god. yes i believe there is one but i have my own faith in spirituality not in religion.

all religions are equal
it doesn't matter which religion you are ..
it only matters how u behave and who you are ...
and how you believe in your faith...

Doing things can't save you. Going to church can't save you. Praying can't save you. Reading a book, any book, even the Bible can't save you. Shouting and yelling, can't save you. Singing and dancing can't save you. Sitting and quietly meditating can't save you.
Nothing you say, or do, or do not do, will save you.
This is the message of the Bible. It says this over and over and over again.
So why do we invite people to come to our church?
It's not so they can sing with us. It's not so they can sit in a church. It's not so they can pray. It's not so they can lift their hands and dance.
Although there is nothing wrong with any of those things.
The reason we invite people to come to our church, is simply to hear the message that it is by faith, through Jesus Christ our LORD, that they are saved. It's where they will hear the message that no matter what bad thing they have done, no matter where they came from, or evil is in their heart...
IF they accept Jesus Christ as their LORD, as their Savior, they will be forgiven and saved for eternity. This is the reason we invite everyone to our church.

There will be misunderstanding because your family won't accept you if you change your religion. To make the reversion easy, you have to listen to those who practice the religion you wish to embrace. It comes to the point where you need to be separated from your family because your religion has changed. After converting, you will have to seek what you can get out of the new religion. This is if your family do not agree but you have to change religion. If your family agree to change religion, there would be more bridges burned so it might be natural that only you have to convert.

Yeah most family members dont like to see their kids or their members joining or following another religion and start spreading or sharing the words of God on their family even if there is no wrong in doing that but still family has already established a root of beliefs on their old religion and that makes them not comfortable to follow another one.

Most religious organizations have produced bad fruitage. It is not the fact that groups are organized that is bad. But many have promoted forms of worship that are based on false teachings and are largely ritualistic instead of providing genuine spiritual guidance, they have been misused to control the lives of people for selfish objectives. They have been overly concerned with money collections and ornate houses of worship instead of spiritual values, their members are often hypocritical. Obviously no one who loves righteousness would want to belong to such organization. But true religion is a refreshing contrast to all of that. Nevertheless,to fulfill the Bible's requirements,it must be organized.

I think the christians like some other religious groups are pretty radical. They want everyone to think and believe like them. But that is not possible in this world. Look, I am not religious and I don't plain it anytime soon. Religion has and never will save anyone. We save ourselves. People need something to believe in to get them through their day or their life. They dream of a better place then this one. I do not. This is it. So, if you want to be saved, look deep within yourself and make the changes needed to change.

To me, religion doesn't matter. Everyone always thinks that religion matters, but it doesn't. If there is a God up there, that God doesn't care what religion you are, or what you faith is, but more about what you do. What you do is what makes all of the difference in the world.

I do not intend to start a religious argument save that all I would say is that Christianity is about a personal relationship with Christ. If you are open enough to read the Bible, read about the Pharisees. The Pharisees were extremely religious, but that didn't save them one bit. In fact, the teachers of the law killed Jesus.
Look at the Bible and see all that is recorded of what Jesus, then make a decision for yourself. Try to pray to ask Jesus and God to open your eyes to understand the text.
If you care to know more, ask a Christian friend. I am sure he will be most willing to share the differences between a religion and one that your God is your Lord, friend and Saviour.

It's God's commandment that we should stay away from wrong religions. It means that you should leave the wrong religion and change to a right religion therefore you are saved. But if you are in a right religion and you go to a wrong religion, you're doomed. Religion alone cannot save you but you cannot be saved without religion.

You must have faith in God your Creator, and not another one this is what will save you .
By the way not all the religions of man-made , religions are monotheistic Religions , sent by God to His messengers on earth, your words can be applied to the otherreligions
I pray to God that illuminates your vision , and guides you of true religion

You have raised a lot of issues and am afraid I may not address each of them. However, let me share what I learned from the Bible. The Bible doesn't say that religion is the way to have a relationship with God. It does say that putting our trust in Jesus Christ, or believing in Him is the biblical principle for a saving faith. True christians doesn't invite you to join them but for you to hear God's plan of salvation. If you trust Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, I believe that God will lead you to a Church where you can grow and be useful. It's not about religion but it's about our intimate relationship with God, doing His will and become a blessing to others.

i do believe in my religion but i dont think that faith alone is enough for one person to be saved. as they say in believing there should be doing. if you believe in the teachings of your religion act on it. i think it is then where you should consider if you would be saved.
