math exam .....:( i could have done better

It's been about 4 months now since you started this discussion. I'm not sure if my response is going to be any relevant, but I'll still post anyway. Well, what is past is past. Don't dwell on it because there is absolutely no way that the past can be changed. But rather, focus on the future where you can still dictate what is going to happen. I know you are upset with how you fared in the math board exam (and I'm sure your dad will feel the same way too), so what you could do now is to study harder for the next exam. Do more revision, practice questions and sample exam questions to familiarize yourself with the types of questions they are likely to ask in the exam. While the phone is a nice motivation for you to score good marks, I feel a better motivation is to score well and make your father proud and happy. Your dad has not spent on your present yet, so I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities in the future where you could still get the present if you do well. Experiences like yours are a good teacher for us to learn to pick ourselves up when we encounter failure; remember, failure is the stepping stone to success!

Do not feel so sad. The good thing is that you already know you could have done better. This shows you believe in yourself and I am sure that come the next math exam you will get very high grades.

I have also felt this whenever I have math tests. When the teacher gives back the test papers, I will my mistakes and the correct answers. I will feel regret because my mistakes were so easy and usually, i only made mistakes because of carelessness. So, I guess my advice for you is to study harder and to try again next time. There will still be a next test. Do better there :) happy mylotting.

me too.. but my father didn't promise any mobile if i get a good score.. when i show my parents my exam score, they get angry and ask me to take course if i can't study better by myself.. so sad.. i already have many course to take .

I think you were so much in concentration with the cool mobile your father promised you that's why you failed. But don't worry, there are still second chances. This time think of yourself, the knowledge, the good thing that exam will bring you in success than thinking a gift in exchange for a high marks.I don't want to say good luck, instead I want to say make good next time.

hi there, maybe you should focus more on studying and getting a good grade than thinking about getting the phone. i know you can pass it, you just have to dedicate more time and effort to it. when are you retaking the exam then? do better this time. good luck!!!

Maths is not tough to me. You can try it more... Problems will solve itself. Don't feel sad. Try how much you could....!

Well, first things first. You should've done your best, not for the phone, but for yourself. The mobile phone is just a consolation prize on the job you did well.
