If you have friends who can lend you some money, then you'll solve your problem. Try approaching them.

On such a short timeline? Yikes. That's gonna be tough. The only things I can think of are to sell something (either locally or online), ask around and see if anyone needs some odd jobs done (shopping for a busy family, gardening, dog walking, clean their car for a couple of bucks, whatever) or find a pawnbroker and hock your jewellery short-term (not long-term, just long enough to cover your costs).
