Do you still believe that the best things in life are free?

Freedom isn't free. This is true for not just the US, but for every country. You are right so many things we take for granted may very well be one day not so easily accessible, not so easily free. Im not saying in our generation but in those to come. Our great great grandchildren may be wearing oxygen masks and playing in indudstrialized areas then the great beautiful broad outdoors. I would be willing to bet that country life, which now in many ways can be cheaper, may cost more to live in then the city with it maybe becoming scarce. I know I'd be looking for the past.. the way it was with our grandparents. I don't want a Jetson's style life for me.

I have bought so many good things in my life. But the best things in my life are my beutiful wife,wonderful daughter and my intelligence.I haven not paid for any of these things Dazzle.Yes I still believe that the best things in life are free provided how a person decides the best things in life.

In essence, yes, I would have to agree with that. The best things in life do tend to be rather free, that being friendship, support, and pretty much all of those things. Well at least when those things are true, they are absolutely free to say the very least. Those little things, that we should cherish, that we should really care about, are just going to be free of charge and those tend to be the things that are just going to take for granted. Of course, many of things we do need, they do cost a lot. But those things are just the nature of the best. We live in a very monetarily driven world and there is no hiding of that, no running for it, it is just a lot of those things. Of course, the fact that many things that we are required to have, are really going to put those great things in life into better perspective. It does make perfect sense for sure, but there are just things that mean the most out of life. Some of the best things are free.

There are many objects that can be bought, but relationships, friendships are cultivated through togetherness and time. I love the time that I spend outdoors with my child. Even just playing in the backyard and picking up leaves, sticks and dandelions is much more important to me than giving her things.

I do believed and still believe. Happiness is a choice and I believe on it.Material things can be buy/bought on which gives happiness, temporary happiness. However, true happiness and contentment is something we can achieve freely if we choose to be happy and worry-free.There are so many things in this life that we worry too much- we worry about tomorrow that we missed to smile and the happiness the current day is giving to us. Therefore,it is our choice, whether we keep worrying or live our life to the fullest everyday as if it is the last day of our lives.

For me, only love is the best thing in life, because you can't buy love.

I think the best things in life are free for money, but not free for other things. The love is a good thing in life, but if we want get it, we should pay our care, our time and our love for it. Happiness is a good thing in life, but we have to pay hard work and do good things to get it. I do not think we stand in the house and do nothing can help us get the best things in our life. If you want to get something, you must pay other things to get them. Nothing is totally free.

Hello Dazzled! Yes! The best things in life are free!!! i guess the things that this statement is referring to are the intangible, unseen but deeply felt. For me to hang out with friends or simply chatting with them are among the best things in life that are free. Also included here are the attention that we get from those we love and love us in return.

I think anything in the world is not free at all expcept air.But air is what God gives us.without air there isn't any man.Man should thanks God .And man should believe in God and not disturb nature.If man only demand from nature without protect it ,man will destroy himself sooner or later.

In one of my previous threads, I had already talked about a similar topic, mostly linked to destruction of the natural environment by human beings. As a wise man said, "Too late man will realize that money can not be eaten!" could happen that the humanity is lost if they happen to lack the basic necessities risurse that you have listed (air, water, etc.). Something we still free, mother nature has given it. Our job to use them for our own lives. It will be too late when we come to understand that the "crimes" against life are called errors!

hi there, ummm i don't really think i still believe in that. everything in this world has changed a lot. almost everything got a tag attached on it. my other half is so far away from me, and i can't be with him always because the plane ticket is just so so expensive. if only i could be with him already but i still have to work for our future. maybe i can say, love is still free but also that depends on other people's point of view.

I think in modern world, there is nothing left for free. Free things do not exist in reality. I think the only good free thing that is left is God.

The best things in life are priceless. Those were the things that can't be bought yet their worth are much important than money. Experiences, Dignity, Respect, Relationship and Love those were the things that are the best things in life and they are priceless.
