hello friend, i will talk about intel, intel is the one of semiconductor company, all of you have you using intel processor on your gadget?? yeah sure i said yes, who are people never know about clockspeed and cores. ok i will explain it. clockspeed is the quantity of ability how to processor process a lot of data, the quantity of The clockspeed is Hertz for this era the fastest processor that i know core i7 extreme with 7 core with 3,9Ghz. wow so fastest. we have no problem when the processor multitasking and playing game like as battlefield. and cores. cores is the core inside the processor the greater number of cores the processor can do until overclock (greater than ordinary clockspeed). if i ask you, which one of the important things in the processor clockspeed or cores? and if you choose both of the processor. intel core 13 with 3,15 GHz or intel Core i5 with 2,66Ghz?

I think the answer would depend on what software applications you use, and how they make use of mult-threading or they are more clock-cycle oriented. I have machines that use Intel and AMD technology, but the latest machine I built uses an 8core (4 Bulldozer module) AMD FX-8120 at 3.1 Ghz. For the applications I use the most, cores (threads) matter. I chose the AMD unit because it gives the most cores and Mhz speed for the money. I know the particular part I chose actually is slower than the Intel I5-2500k in most tests (but not all) and in clock speed by 200 Mhz, but I need the more cores 8 vs 4, for the applications I use the most. And I don't overclock it at all. In any application(s) that I have used, no matter how many are open, I have never seen my processor useage more than 47%, so I let the Turbo Core function of the processor handle any frequency increases as it deems necessary.

wow. that's so fantastic. multitasking and the processor usage more than 47%. there are many problem like as crash when you use amd?.

I built this machine in December of 2011, and it runs 24/7. The only crashes I get with it, and it's not really the machine, is when I play GTA4, that game has crashed to the desktop probably about 5 times max. As far as the machine freezing or requiring a reboot for anything other than a Windows Update or the like, that would be 0 times. Right now I have my Blue Iris security cam software running on it, as well as IE and it is using 5% of its processor and 34% of its 8GB RAM. It has been a very good experience.

Cores, the more, the merrier, lol! definitely when you got multi-cores, multitasking would be a breeze. Overclocking a certain standard clockspeed would in a way affect the the processing core itself due to heat, as more than the relative data causes as a burden to the processing process.
