Where do you like to study at?

The hardest thing to me about studying is distractions. Even at home I have trouble finding a spot to be able to sit down and actually read. I have been thinking about going to the park and siting on one of the benches and trying to read but not sure if that will help. About the only place I find that is relaxing and quiet enough is the laundry mat when I wash my clothes. Any ideas or experiences where you have been able to get a good hour or so of reading in at?

The best place where I liked to study, where I tended to get the absolute most productivity out of when I studied, was right in the comfort of my own room, with the classroom being the second best. The comfort of my own room was rather my domain. I could kick back on my bed, with a nice snack, with some relaxing music on, as I tried to get my mind stirring. As it turned out, I likely had no need to study all that much.
But still the bedroom was the best place. It was the domain that I succeeded with the best and got my best work. Of course, as I said, there is really no beating the classroom either. Given that I did a lot of my studying when you technically think about it, by listening the teacher and taking notes, it really just studying in another form. Whether it was my bedroom or the classroom, as long as I was at ease, I could study well enough.

Fortunately for me I do not get distracted so easily even if I am reading and the TV is on. Try to experience different places and you may be able to find a less distractive place. I think park will also be very distractive since there are many activities happening there. You can also try studying in your bedroom or any other room that is free from distraction.
