The last time I've had mine cleaned was 3 months ago.. I have experts do it for me if I have an appointment... but for no occasion or reason, I love doing it by myself. Changing colors according to my mood makes me busy and somewhat release stress. How about you? thanks for sharing!

I will clean my nails every week by myself. I have long fingers and I don't like long nails because it is not clean in my opinion. So I don't spend much time on it. But sometimes I will go to have my toe nails cleaned. As it is comfortable and my feet look better after that.
I love China

I go every few months or so and have a professional do it but more often than not I do it myself. I like changing my polishes and doing my own nails. It gives me something to do and changing my colors according events going on or my mood.

I clean my nails myself the only time I have someone else do it is when I get my nails done somewhere.

I wonder what you mean by: cleaning your nails.
I clean my nails several times a day when I wash my hands.
I assume you mean something like manicure?
I only did that once before my wedding and it was a big disaster.
I don't think they had the right knowledge about it. They also gave me those fake nails and the end result was: after 2 days I was starting to loose them one by one and my own nails are so badly damaged that it probably will take 6 months or longer to get strong again and grow normally back.
So I will never do that again, it's better I do it myself.
Also I don't think it's worth the money, it's was very expensive, way too expensive to my opinion.

Can artificial nails really damage our nails? My friend is always using artificial nails because she wants her nails longer and more appealing. I never heard her complain about its negative effects to her own nails.
If the manicurist is a newbie, there's a tendency that you'll get hurt. Those veteran manicurists are really good and you'll be really satisfied with your manicure and pedicure. But yes, you are correct. It's too expensive. I'm the one who's doing my manicure and pedicure. I studied Cosmetology when I was in high school. My avatar is the picture of my newly manicured nails.

I cut & clean my nails by myself if there's no occasion but it's not done rally well so if I had the money,I'd have a manicurist/pedicurist do it so it would be perfect.

I don't get mine cleaned by anyone, I just cut it. That is "clean" for me. I understand that you girls get yours cleaned by other people because it's a thing you girls have, and I just don't understand why.

I have my nails done for the first time by a professional because I want to see how to properly do it. I go for a regular consultation only every 2 months. I prefer my nails to be unpainted because I always liked the 'clean' look.

I clean my nails by myself and personally enjoy doing it. I do it every Sunday after taking my daily bath. It is very relaxing in my opinion and I really enjoy every moment of it! :D

I visit the nail salon very rarely these days. When I do it's to treat myself to a pedicure. I pay extra for the spa chair only a 5.00 difference. As for my hands I handle myself by trimming and filing. I leave them natural no color.
Keeping it simple!

I don't let others clean my nails. Well, there are times I do go on salon and have it colored. But most of the time, it was myself who does the cleaning. I am not that kind of person who always make my nails colored or put an art on it. I am just simple one who does it myself...

I do cut my nails in a month or so,and in that moment of time I keep on cleaning my nails by myself. But mostly I cut it if i see my nails are getting dirty. My sister does apply colors in the nails quiet often and she changes the colors according to the dress she wears for the occasion.
