Dear Friend In my knowledge the fastest PC processor is intel I7 if I m not wrong and correct me if I m wrong ........ SO which is the fastest PC processor available today what is its speed ? Hare Krishna Ganesh

The Cell Processor is pretty fast, but that is a PowerPC processor. It looks like you guys are talking about intel processors. I hear the iCore series are pretty fast. Though the PowerPC processors are pretty fast, they were designed to be fast.

yes in the intel family for pc the i7 extreme overclocked is the fastest...and it si expensive..there are even some other from amd called bulldozer has strong frequency but i don't know in comparison to core i7...

Are you talking about home PCs or computers as a whole? If you mean home PCs the fast at the moment is i7, but if you mean computers as a whole including servers - Xeon family processors are still the most powerful processors.
