It is definitely a good month for those celebrating their birthdays since it reminds us more about Jesus. Happy birthday Annrielyn_03 too, your baby looks very cute.

Plan A: As of now, we have a plan of going home to our province, if time permits as well as budgets...LOL. Plan B: If we can't go to our province, perhaps we will just stay at home and visit some church nearby (Visita Iglesia). Enjoy the rest of the holiday with my family.

Nice plan for holy week. Going home to a province is really expensive LOL if not expensive, it will turn you out of budget LOL.. =) Have a nice holy week..

Yeah, especially when your home province is really far enough from where you are right now. Good for us that our province is just 3-4hours drive away.

I don't really spend Holy week at vacation, we never fails to stay at home and watch religious movies at TV. This Holy Week my BF would like me and I to go Visita Iglesia, this plan hasn't polish yet. It might interfere with his work, he has a work on Holy week cause he's working in transportation( railways).

Where in Bicol is your boyfriend from, arianne. Yes, you will surely love it here in Bicol, because the people are into the celebration of the Holy week specially , the processions during Black Friday. Then, after the Black Friday, people flocks to the beach to the beach. Bicol foods are also very delicious. You must try them and be ready to have your mouth sizzle with its Bicol Express. As for me, i will be going home to my hometown, while husband will be at home to guard it.

I'll be staying at my mom's house and spend the weekend with her along with my wife and child. Just rest, enjoy the vacation and do movie marathons. But we also consider going to my wife's province, and we're still not decided yet.

Hi ar, You mean Easter Sunday and not eastern monday; sure a lot of people go to the beaches that time of summer, it seems to be the highlight of the Holy Week season. Me I plan to catch up with my skipped shows and just stay at home all day after church services, it's too hot for me to go outside. Actually, I plan to go somewhere remote and real quiet such as my favorite hunting ground to test fire my .357 pistol just off the repair bench but I might disturb the spirit of the Holy Week and may end up "punished" by my deed, so its just church and home for me all the time.

Hello arianne! You have made a right decision. Welcome to Bicol! Well, as to my plans, my family will be staying right here in our home this holy week. This is the only time I can spend with my family before my training. I'd like to make the most of my time with my family as we won't be seeing each other for 3 months. Oh, well this is part of my job being a public servant. You know, "Public interest over personal interest." Well, don't forget to visit Donsol, Sorsogon, the whaleshark capital of the World.

I don't go to beaches during the Holy Week because it is crowded and the hotels and inns are more expensive than their usual rates. I'm not sure if my friends will again ask me to join their "Visita Iglesia". Last year we were able to do that and I was able to see a lot of beautiful old churches. The only downside of our Visita Iglesia is that most establishments are closed and we didn't have any good place that we could choose to eat. If my friends and I won't do that, I will just stay at home.

Spend time at home with my family, on Maunday Thursday will do Visita Iglesia, then will be watching the procession of Saints on Black Friday.

I am spending my holy week in the province, attend masses, go to grandparents, visit my parents grave and after that on Easter Sunday we will go to the beach and enjoy we will try to have lunch or early dinner by the beach because I have a baby I cannot afford to let her go to the beach under the scorching sun...so by around 4pm that might do with going to the beach. That would also be the time that my husband is going to meet up his childhood friends and high school batch mates hopefully I would also be able to see my relatives on my mother's side, it's been awhile since I last saw them. Miss them actually.

Hi Arianne, I'd like to share with you my plan. Actually April 4th is Tomb-sweeping festival in China, we traditionally express our mourning and missing for the departed relatives in special ways on that day. We prepare their favourite foods, burn symbolic paper money, hoping they are happy and rich enough in another world. Perhaps there is different ways of mourning among countries. As we have 3 days holiday for the Tomb-sweeping festival, I decide to burn incense in the temple this year, pray for my departed grandpa. Hoping we could be family in another world.
