Query Regarding Google Apps

I would really appreciate if some one can suggest in laymen terms 
I am a non technical person. So let me brief the problem.
We have a domain for our company and we are using google apps free version which gives 10 email ids which was good for a start up company. However, a week back out website stopped opening and also our emails. I learned that it is a hosting problem and so it is effecting your emails. I tried reaching the local web hosting but he is absconding, i am planing to buy hosting space from Godaddy. However i wanted to know how to change the settings in google apps for our emails to resume working.
