how do you choose a nice name for your dog?

My dog now is Princess. I picked that out when I was 9. It has become such a funny name because she does get treated like a Princess, but she certainly doesn't act like one. She's so scruffy, and she plays rough with my brother's young rottweiler. I usually just call her by pet names (pun intended) though, like "girly" or "babe." I think in the future I think I'd have a lot of nerdy names.. like a dog named Padfoot or a cat named Eevee.

yeah you are right to have a do is really enjoying. hmm last month my friend has bough a dog and he ask me to suggest its name. i tell him give it a popular name FACEBOOK and guess what he named it FACEBOOK. but i am not suggesting you this name. i wanna say give it a word which love or which you can easily pronounce . you will love it. :)

Most of the time I base it on my pet's looks..like if my pet has spots, I would call him "pot-pot" or something like that. lol. And sometimes I base it on my favorite anime character as well .

That actually depends on you. But I'm thinking of choosing a flavor from your favorite ice cream. Or you may select a name from different fruits. At home, we actually name our pets with famous singers or personalities. Or try to observe your pet first, then name them with the qualities they possess. Give it a try!
