People try to change, they try to be better, to work smarter, harder. Do you think people can change if they don't have a good reason, a tragedy, a revelation ?

Well, as what a saying goes which I learned from a friend. In fact he used it as a shout out on his facebook account more often. It's "the only constant thing in this world is CHANGE". And I think he has a point. BIG TIME Everyone, has the right to given a chance to change. But of course, it should come from within, from our own FREEWILL.

Yes, the only permanent thing in this world is change. Whether it is for the good or for bad it is still change. Even if we try not to change, I do think it is impossible to resist it. If it is not us, its the people around us.

I think that people can change. But i do not think that they can or will change if they dont have a good reason to. Alot of people change something about them selfs when they get married. They might not change something big it might just be something very little but it is a change. The first thing that i changed when i first got married was eatting in front of a guy that was not my father lol. I have always hated eatting in front of people i dont now why. But still to this day i hate eatting in front of my husbands family my family on the other hand i have no problem what so ever guess its just becuase i have always been around them and always eatting in front of them. So i really and truly think that if you have a good reason to change then you can do it. But then again i guess if you really dont have a reason you could still change. If you wanted to loss weight or something like that. That you could probably change with out a reason but i guess you could kind of think of that as a good reason as well. Because you would want to loss weight because of your health. So i guess its back to what i said at the beinging about people only change if they have a real reason why they want to change. Do you have any ideas on the matter do you think that people can change with out having a good reason?

People can change if they really want to. For instance, smokers. I am a smoker but I'm more than willing to change, but I just can't do it. However, there are smokers who have successfully quit the vice. I kind of admire this people because I know how hard it is to quit smoking. It all started with a simple curiousity, and progressed into a whole new level of mess.

First of all I don't think people are changing. You are who you are. The only thing you can do is invest and develop yourself. But still this has nothing to do with changing. Those who invest in themselves are developing always have a reason to do so. Those who are not are too lazy, too happy with their state of being or just don't care.

Our core remains the same. WE might be affected by events or people in our life. But some people can change all the way, rare but it happens.

I think that people can change if they want to, but it takes a lot to get a person to change from what they used to be.

We change constantly. Every little experience in some way alters us even if only slightly. The bigger the experience, the more effect it will have on us. Wakeup Kitty said that people don't change and in way, I get what she is saying. There is a part of us that always remains the same, I think. As I've gotten older, my outlook on life and different things has changed considerably. There are things that I did when I was younger that I would not dream of doing now. But the part of me that made me "me", well that never changes. It's so hard to explain. Ok here's an example...My 2 brothers and I grew up in the same home and shared many of the same experiences. We talk about those experiences and it is clear that we all experienced them in different ways. My youngest brother is serious and very outspoken, kindhearted but gruff. My other brother is very outgoing, friendly, almost childlike at times and yet has strong work ethics, kind of hippyish. They have always been like that and I believe they always will be. The base personality doesn't seem to change.

people can change, specially if they had the will to do it. if thay are inspired and if they are focused. they know their goals and targets. then they will sure change for the better. though some people change for the worst. with reason as well. so for me anybody can change specially when they are inspired and anybody can do what they have to do in the best way they can. have a great day.

I do think that some people can change. I don't think that everyone do change, or are willing to change, but some do. It just depends on the person, their situation, and such.

Well anyone does really have the ability to change. But when you strip down the layers, I think that most people don't really have any really big changes throughout their life. They are just mostly the same person. They just mostly have the same personality, but it might get altered and they might not be themselves for a while. Of course, it really does depend on the person. There are times where there are going to be temporary shifts in personality that are going to exist. Will these shifts last a long amount of time? Or will people just revert back to old habits right as the time does really go on to say the very least. Of course, one must wonder if changes that we perceive are just aspects of a personality which we have not noticed previously.

They most definetly can change, over the years of their adolescents and such. They have to grow up some time during their life and they will, hopefully for the most part. There are still some people I have lost all hope for, it is way too late for them. I try to give most people a chance and most of them do not change very quickly at least.

I believe people can change because they can learn, grow and evolve. It doesn't make sense to TRY to change someone else because it would be natural for them to resist. We as individuals can; however, make a personal choice to take steps toward self improvement.
