How do you study? And what helps you to do so?

1. I start by ignoring whatever is going on around me and focus on the future, this might not help you today but it will help you get to your future. 2. I prepare my supplies such as my utensils and such so I don't have to walk around just to get the items I need. 3. Don't cramp yourself by taking short ten minute breaks each hour, eat a snack, go out for fresh air, review some other stuff, play some games, and such. 4. Keep up with the media and keep your life intact by socializing and having experiences, it helps you by giving you a idea already instead of making something up right on the spot for the essay or report. 5. Listen to the teachers, and take notes, ignore all the background talks of your classmates. 6. I sometime make songs out of word, it's easier to remember lyrics then to remember dictionary definitions. 7. Talk with people so you will become more confident to talk in front of a crowd for a presentation. 8. Open the window for fresh air or more sun light, for some reason I don't know how this benefits you but it just does. 9. Always keep your note cards in a safe place on you for before tests reviews. 10. Sleep on time, this helps your memory. 11. If your bored then find a study partner but try not to go off topic. 12. If you have History then read the textbook or watch a History channel documentary. 13. If you have Science then watch some documentaries for some background information on a branch. 14. If you're into room studying then avoid all distractions, including media. 15. But calm music can help you focus compared to some screaming guy music. 16. Do not multitask at all costs as this is a severe distraction and if you do then might as well not bother to try to study. 17. Do all your homework, extra credits and the test reviews you get. 18. Keep a planner to keep up with upcoming tests and quizzes. 19. Be creative and try to make your work fun as possible while trying to get it done. 20. If none of these work then go find a tutor or consult with your guardian. Well, I want to know your ideas of how to study.

I love to study and have liked to do so all my life. But I have a completly different set of rules, if I may call them that way, than the ones you have. I like to cook and garden so that when I studied at the university, I read with concentration for maybe half an hour and then went to the kitchen or to the garden to do something. While I planted, weeded or made a soup, I also thought about what I had read and tried to put it in my own words.

whenever i study i just make sure that i have a very quiet environment. and if my exam is announced one day before, then i never sleep until i finish everything. but if my exam is still far like a bout a few weeks, then i always make sure i make use of the time i have to avoid cramming.

I go search for videos on youtube about things that are related to a topic the teacher is discussing. Videos are good for memory. I like eating when i study but this can distract me if i eat too much but it is no good to not eat at all when studying. we need to prevent hunger in order for our brains to work better. 2 hours i study then after that i lie down a little and close my eyes then recall what i have studied without looking at my notes. i think that is helpful.

To be honest, I don't study. Somehow my brain is trained to do photographic memory, which is very helpful when having to memorize definitions, music, words, rules, etc. Some people say that if you say it out loud to yourself, it helps. I have also heard that using acronyms helps in certain cases. Many of my friends use flash cards, say it out loud, use acronyms, find some type of pattern, or just chill out listening to their favorite studying song lol. I also have friends that will study during the commercials of a television how they are watching, or during a television show they don't like so they stay focused. These are just a few though.
