Hi MyLotters! I'm playing the online game Anno 1777 and find it very funny and interesting, and the fact that I can earn real money out of virtual business is quite interesting too. But a few days ago, when surfing the site around and watched the cashout options (only dreaming, as I'm still far away the minimum) I was surprised to NOT found the PayPal option. Right now I can only cashout with Western Union and bank transfer, neither of the I really trust that much. So, for all those who are there too, it's just me or they've removed PayPal cashout?

I am also playing Anno 1777, I already reach Php 11.00 but then someone invites me to move to Sao Taome, I didn't know that my current money will be lost, darn. I think wire transfer such as Wester Union is much better than Paypal cause you will get the money in cash.

You use your in-game currency (like pesos) to buy gold and then use gold to buy euros. Then you can cashout via bank transfer or Western Union.

Just like in real life, every country in the game has its own currency. When you move, you keep your PHPs with you but they're useless in Sao Tome. There you have to earn their own currency though work, fight or selling gold. You can convert your Philippine currency to gold, then travel, then convert it back to the another local currency. You can even do so after you're there in your financial assets, you can sell your money for gold there, or try to buy euros for a cashout.

Yes it's not easy to reach payout level, at least from working and fights alone. I also am far still from cashout, but just looking ahead for the time I want to do it.

Exactly, that's my though too. I try to keep online money online, and real money in my real life bank account or pocket. Also I have some doubts about the fees or potential problems of international bank transfer or check deliveries when sending money to foreign countries.

Yeah, it does seem that they've gotten rid of the PayPal withdrawal option. I actually got paid by them for the first time via PayPal a little before it vanished! It's really too bad. Perhaps it had something to do with the in-game lotteries -- PayPal is rather puritanical when it comes to gambling.

Lucky of you!! I wasn't as fortunate, still very far from the minimum, but looking ahead. Maybe it was that, maybe lotteries, maybe the fact it's "game" or some form of investment that they don't like, I know they're very restrictive with that. I only have guesses as of now, until I can find some good forum or something that explain more (or have better guesses).

probably they removed paypal because in general they had problems with it such as i don't know about this game but sometimes paypal interpretation about game when you can earn money is gambling even if it is not a real or at all similar to an online casino...because paypal bans all gambling sites and money games to use their gateway!!

Maybe........ never though it that way, although the game doesn't looks and act like most conventional gambling sites, it might be interpreted as such by PayPal. Still have to look at their forum to see if there is something about that.

When I joined one month ago the first thing I did was to check that and at that time there wasnt PayPal as an option. Maybe it is an option for several countries. However I think Western Union is a better option becouse it's easier to withdraw the money (at least at my country). And why don't you trust WU or Bank Transfer?

I like PayPal far more because it works totally online, it's better for me to have it that way and then use it to invest somewhere else or buy something though it, as all e-commerce sites accept PayPal as their primary option, but not many accept bank transfers and other options. And my concern bout WU or bank is the international transfer, how to ensure that it will succeed without problems or what kind of problems may I have to have money transfered from abroad. By the way, I have a WU local nearby my workplace, so it may be not as bad. Do you know how do they operate and how can I receive the money sent via them?
