This is the life of trainers. Eventually, every trainer is sacked, with a few exceptions(Ferguson). It was obvious that the players of Inter haven't wanted Ranieri anymore and that was the reason for them playing so miserably. This move should have been done much earlier, when it became clear that the players want Ranieri out. Because it is easier to sack a trainer, than to change a whole squad.

I am 100% sure that the players wanted Ranieri out. They are far better than playing so badly for so long. Maybe Morratti wanted to convince the players to play well, no matter the trainer, but he has realized that it was impossible. So Morratti had to make what the players wanted.

Well, too bad Ranieri was sacked too soon. Because he could make Inter in poor performances, so it will help another team to beat and defeat them .
Anyway, for long time, i just don't like Moratti and his policy. Just look at behind how many coaches that Moratti had sacked?? He just an impatient club owner. The one like Abramovich, i think.
So yes, i don't like them.

yeah, the result is mostly a judgement. i think he doesn't have a good strategy in inter milan. inter has top class players but they just failed to improve the performances. we know they are lack in winning this season. even sneijder doesn't enjoy the role in the team. i think he is deserved to coach at another team and he is stll a good coach definitely

After the highs during the Mourinho's era, anything less will be deem as a failure. While Inter has been pretty awful this season, Ranieri should be given more time. Inter Milan is in need of an overhaul for their aging players. Such transformation will need time and the interim period could be a lull period. However, club owners nowadays does not see it this way. They want instant success and managers/coaches are the victim.

Inter should not have sacked Ranieri at all because it's not his fault for the failure of Inter. It's the director who's at fault for chasing away the man who led them to domestic and european glory. When a team keeps changing their manager, it tends to worry the players as they have no consistency, no game plan to stick to. Every manager's philosophy on the games are different and it's not easy to change after finally getting used to the previous manager. Manager should be allowed time, and even Mourinho needs time at a club to show his magic touch.

Was Inter doing well when it was under Ranieri? If the answer is no, then it is the coach that has to be responsible. In professional football, there are only today's results that matter. Nobody remembers what you did last summer. As for whether it is fair, it really does not matter. Even the top coaches who won World Cup/UCL were sacked when the results of today are not good. The sacked coaches are still good coaches. The sacking doesn't take away any of their quality. Moratti likes to sack. But you will still find a lot of applications when there is a vacancy.
