Generally, making money is always difficult, both online and offline. You had thought that making money online is more difficult than offline, perhaps because you are just starting this and don't really know what to do. Keep researching, keep learning and don't give up.

You have to be thoughtful & do a lot of research on all of those websites. Check each websites terms & conditions & private policy & FAQ. If there's an important question about the site that you have (esp. financial) then you should be wary. It shouldn't be too surprising that all the scammers and cheaters operate online. If they were standing in front of you, they would risk physical injury or worse! I can think of quite a lot of people that I would gladly murder!

Experiencing difficulty is one challenge that a person could face when trying to achieve what he wanted, so if you are determined enough to pursue what you wanted to achieve, then, you'll be able to reach it. Before, I almost quit on working online, but setting my goals helped me to continue even though I know that it would took me time to earn more. I'm am more of a positive thinker now than before. Losing confidence and trust with oneself hinders our desire to achieve more.
