true. when you see someone who has a problem and down with stress, you automatically say you can do that you tell them words to encourage them to be strong. but when you are strike by a problem that will cause stress you will then realize that it was easier said than done. but still we all need to try to manage our stress. prolonged stress can contribute to heart attack, emotional stress and tension also cause the body to produce adrenaline, which makes the heart pump faster and harder, and may also cause the blood vessels to narrow down. so we really need to do our best to manage our stress. do something else that can make us smile a little or do something that would keep our minds off the problem just for a few hours. watching funny movies are one, having someone to talk with is another. doing mylot is one more good idea.

I know that mylot is where I come to de-stress. To be honest, mylot makes me a little more money, and money is usually my stresser so it works out. Now I know we all say "cheer up bud, it's okay" but then when it happens to us we want to hear nothing of it because it's so much worse. I don't know what it is about stress, but it's like we can sympathize but we can't, and when it happens to use it brings us to our knees.

but SomeCowgirl its how we look at stress ,we can allow it to bend us in knots or we can say don't stress the small stuff an most stuff is small. I am a diabetic and I know if I give in to stress I am facing high blood sugar which is not good for any one.So I used guided imagery that I learned from a diabetes nurse educator and don my invisible plastic bubble that is stress proof. stress just bounces off it and cannot touch me. I do not know if others can use this unless they have an excellent imagination and believe it will work.I also love mylot for destressing myself. it peaceful and earning money when I am almost broke is good too.Mylot people aree almost always so understanding and peaceful so its a quiet serene place to unstress.I think i am making up words here lol lol

yes stress is something we really need to resolve it alone. its between me, myself and i. that when we hear someone who wants to console us it makes even worst or sometimes it leads us with more stress. nobody can help us here but to control our own stress. make sure that stress does not pull us to deep. and mylot is really a place where we de-stress for we forget about our own problems when we start to think of responses and comments that we need to put in able to earn. thanks a lot for the response.

It is true the managing stress is easier said than done like any advises we give to people who were in trouble. But the key to making it happen is to stop complaining and give it a try. That's what generally hindering us from accomplishing things. Its the negative thoughts, the pessimism in us. What we should to is try to maintain the positive attitude, the optimism that everything will be alright.

I agree that it's hard to manage stress, with so much of it coming at us all the time. One good way, though, is simply to exercise. Go out and play with the kids, or take a walk in a place you enjoy. Dance or do anything physical. Too often, we sit and stew in our stress and that makes it worse.

In life, saying something is always a lot easier than actually doing it, this is not only is a truth apply in managing stress, it is also true in weight lost program, personal financial mangement etc.. Actually by physically doing it can make us feel the pain, anxiety, and even fear while saying it will not yield the same reaction to us physiologically and emotinally.

true! not just stress, weight loss and lot more things are easily said than done. it is like getting inside a friends dirty house. you will tell that person to clean her house. and you will instruct that person how to do it. for i see my wife does it. everyday har har har. but when we and my group are away from home, away from our wives it is not that easy to maintain a household full of guys and make sure it is always clean. NOT THAT EASY! har har har. thanks a lot for the response.

I like some encourage word that used to motive the people who are struggle in stress. Sometime we don't realize that some words that comes from others could motive or energetic them to avoid from being stress. First of all, a cup of coffee is a medicine for a stress actually. This is could help someone to stay calm and focus, or concentrate on something stuff. Exercising is another method helping or getting a new breath facing new faces.

i guess there are moods that you want to hear it, there are moods that you just want to have your me time. sometimes we absorb what people say and sometimes we just dont mind at all. stress comes in different levels. there are times that we like to talk about it or we can talk about it, and there are times that we just want to be left alone. i agree with you regarding coffee. thanks a lot for the response.

hi se7enthbird glad to see you around more.yes its really ease to tell others how to manage their stress but when it comes to ones self it is a bit different I am a diabetic and I really got stressed out last night, My friend took me to riteaide and I used my debit card but unbeknown to me bank of America had turned my debit card into atm only so of course rite aide refused it. now they should have told me this instead of letting me get humiliated and made a fool of , so after a half hour on the phone to the 800 number I learned I have to get a special debit card for purchases. okay, well the stress shot up my blood sugar of course so I forgot my magic bubble. our diabetes nurse educator taught us to envision . a clear plastic bubble that surrounded us and its stress proof, all stress bounces off it and will not get to you.,later Invoked it and woke up with low blood sugar which I raised easily.guided imagery does work if one has a bit of imagination.I do so when I use it I do stay unstressed. you are also right mylot is a great place to unstress as we can relax among friends and feel peaceful again.

back to you my dear hatley. my family has diabetes and stress can really affect not just their moods but also their health. one minute they are okay the next they will be so furious that they need a medication just to make them at peace. but sometimes meds does not help you really need to psych yourself not to get stressed. you need to focus to another topic or just happy thoughts. it is hard to tell yourself to clam down specially when you needed to throw out the feeling. thanks a lot for the response.

I have to agree with you. It's not always easy to deal with stress. It's a lot easier to simply say it, rather than to actually do it. It's just one of those things that you just can't make go away as quickly as you may want.

Heyya se7enthbird! Stress can be very dangerous if it is long periods at great amounts. I usually do long baths and, of course, mylotting. I try to maintain good sleep too. I know that if I don't get enough I feel especially aggravated and stressed. Taking a few moments for ourselves doing something we love can help too.

Believe me, it is not an easy task to control stress. I should know. I am also very depressed and with that and my anxiety, my stress level is extremely elevated. I sometimes shut down and go to bed as a result of my stress. I try to stay as calm as possible, buy when I have to talk to my evil ex, it makes my blood boil. And thus makes my stress level go up. But I will never let her know that.
