Internet,.... bad influence?

Is the internet a bad influence? Some say yes, I disagree though, We have a choice whether to take part in it or not. We also choose which websites we visit. If we don't like something, we are not obligated to buy, look, listen or watch. The internet can be a portal of endless opportunities both good and bad. But in the end it is still a choice. So do you belive it to be a bad thing?

i agree with you..it depends on the individuals. some people only know the internet just for finding nasty websites. but we know that through the internet, it can provide us wuth extra income.

I think the internet can be but it's like what u said.... we have a chose of what to do while we're online. We can chose to take part of something that isn't that good or we can avoid that and do other stuff that isn't that bad.
