What to do with my life...

I am coming up on a point where I am going to have to move back in with my mother in order to survive in college. This will require a 30 mile round trip drive everyday to be able to get back and forth to school. I have a nice little scooter that get 70ish miles to the gallon so that is not a major issue there when it comes to the gas. By doing this I will be able to help relieve some of the pressure she has with money. She only gets x amount from disability and lives very sparsely due to that. By paying her rent that is about 1/2 of what my total bills currently are, she will be able to save/ buy random crap, and I will be able to get my truck paid off. Should I move back in to do this, or should I stay where I am and hope I get enough saved up in time to do it. The amount I am going to save is not a lot, and will most likely get most spent on a good camera and a new car/motorcycle for me. I am really wanting to get into travel blogging so I can see the world, so learning to live on a smaller budget would help me figure out if I want to do that before I finish school.
