Why do jeans get loosen easily?

Maybe you're not wearing jeans in good quality. Maybe it's a cheap brand that you've bought. That is why it loosens up a bit. Try buying in decent brands. I have mine from Jag that I bought 4 years ago and it's still as tight as when I bought it. The color also doesn't change. It's a nice pair of jeans!

Maybe it's the way you're washing them. I don't know much about washing machines (correction: I know close to nothing about washing machines), but I've read that you should use different settings for each type of clothes. Never actually tried that, since I don't do my own laundry. Also, you might want to try washing your jeans less often. If they don't get dirty (I mean dirty dirty) do not wash them till you've worn them like 3-5 times. Just let them get some air. I know I wasn't much help, but I hope you find out what's happening. :)

Welcome to MyLot! So, are you losing weight? If you aren't, sometimes I have the same problem. If I wear my jeans TWICE without washing them (I often do this, don't judge me ), the second time I wear them, the Spandex in them will cause them to stretch out a bit. And once I wash them again, they go back to the original size. It's weird and I don't know why it happens, but it does!

Hi Camlingg, I have the same problem with most of my jeans, too. I noticed that they usually get loose, whether they are good quality or not, especially if they are made of 100% cotton. They go back to the original size after washing, but that doesn't last all day. That's the reason I buy jeans that fit tight when i try them on at the store, they will probably loosen anyway. MAybe if you go back to the store they can change it to a smaller size for you?
