Hey guys, you use a smartphone and I can bet you love yours. Well, let's go to a bit past and know about Smartphone's history. The first ever smartphone was IBM Simon personal communicator. It was created by IBM and Bells South at 1994. Unbelievably, it sold for $899 per phone. It contained calculator, adress book, calculator, note pad, e-mail and games. As it had no physical buttons, customers used touchscreen to select phone numbers with fingers. Texts were either entered by on screen keyboard or a qwerty keyboard. Thanks guys!

hi, i think the that is a good ideas, so what is the history because really i do not know really about the smartphone, how it started and how it upgraded i do not have any ideas about this and really i do not like the samrtphones as i feel it swaste of money and technology, so if you like smartphone then you got it only if you need it as this hight technology is really waste of time and money also, i like simple things really but what you need not what is high tech and you may not need to use it

The amazing part is that this first smartphone was so pathetic compared to what we have now. The fact that in 15 years we have taken something so relatively new and improved upon it so many times over is crazy.

Not to mention the fact that existing tech today still derives most functions from the phones of the Jurassic era
