Do you like being kissed by your partner in public or just in private?

I like kissing in private better. I will kiss some in public but usually just a quick peck. I think part of the reason I don't kiss more in public is that I remember what it was like to be single and feel really lonely. That was about the last thing I wanted to see was a couple heavily making out in public. Sometimes just seeing something like that might ruin my whole day or cause me to have a mental breakdown later in the day about love and romance. Thankfully I did find a wonderful man to be my husband. I just don't want to take him for granted or be the reason others are upset about the idea of love.

hi there, my boyfriend kisses me all the time be it in private or public and i like it because i feel so loved and that he is proud of me. before i was also shy but because being in this country, people would be staring at us and raise and eyebrow LOL but i don't care anymore. my boyfriend is American and so he is liberated and open minded and doesn't care about what other people think about us.

hi, for me i like them both,actually i always kiss my parents in there chicks whether in public or private places because for me it is showing of love for them,and kissing in partner shows love also,so for me it will depend on how they will kiss each other or how the people give meaning of it.

If it's just a simple kiss, then it's totally fine with me. I'd totally appreciate it if my partner would show me his affection even in public.

I enjoy being kissed anywhere and everywhere. I also admire people who can relax enough to show some affection whenever they feel inspired to do so. I know people who have issues with PDA (public displays of affection) and I wish they could allow their selves to be free.

That is actually one agreement we had before with my husband, even when we were just boyfriends and girlfriends we already agreed that we do kiss in private not because we are not proud to be on each others arms but because we grew in the province and that we are brought up in a some what conservative way, so kissing in public would mean to us as Public Display of Affection. But it is really fine with us if people around us do kiss in public it is just not applicable to us. I think many are actually doing it in public specially in church instead of saying peace be with you. So it is their thing not ours. this is just for us.

Many of us have an idea that if we hold our partner strongly in front of others or if we propose to them in front of all people,our partner comes to the idea that we are not afraid of anyone and all we care about is our partner and thats why we do it without any fear in front of the whole world.But when it comes to kiss,I would feel shy as it is something intimate than holding hands and proposing.And besides in my culture and city,I do not want the whole crowd to stare at us having a loving intimate kiss.

I mean it really depends on the situation. I don't mind my boyfriend giving me a peck on the forehead, cheeks or even lips. He knows the limits though. There are certain things that he knows that I won't allow him to do in public. I guess it depends on the people on the relationship and how they feel about public display of affection. I see nothing wrong with it actually as long as everything is PG 13.

In our country, its a taboo to see couples kissing (lip lock) in public. I'm fine with a smack or a kiss on the cheeks - that's sweet and decent, but I always feel uncomfortable when I feel like going beyond that line. Perhaps, the only public place I could allow myself to kiss my partner is in a moviehouse or a bar, where its darker.

I don't mind being kissed in public by my partner, just as long as it is the kind of kiss that isn't very attention catching. I am very showy when it comes to my affection to my boyfriend so I would also love it if he wouldn't mind being kissed by me in public. Sometimes, I even find it sweet.

Well to be honest, I haven't kissed a girl. But I am studying in Manila right now. And I saw many people kissing in public. At first, I was shocked to see couples kissing in public. Because I use to grow up in a conservative environment. And kissing in public was not the usual scenes. But now that I've been in Manila for more than three years now, it's normal for me to see couples kissing in public.

PDA (I mean, Public Displays of Affection) kind of gross me out. Well, not to a certain extent, it's fine, but when I have to see couples making out and stuff in public, I am always thinking to myself: get a room!. But I am a pretty private person as far as all that stuff goes, so that's probably just me.... Happy MyLotting!

It's a given that everyone likes to be kissed in private. Haha! But I like to be kissed in public too. Not french kissing, mind you. Just those short and sweet kisses on the cheek or lips or even forehead. Sometimes I feel like I just want to reach out and kiss my boyfriend for no other reason but to make him feel loved at that very second. And I would want to be the recipient of that type of kiss too. It means a lot when it's in public because it shows that he is not afraid to show the world how he feels about me. It's the same with holding hands and hugging. Now I want a kiss...or a hug.

I find it normal my husband shows his love and affection for me. No matter if there are people around, if we are inside or outside. I think it's abnormal only to show it in the bedroom and ignore your partner for the rest of the time. If my husband would not kiss me outside/in public, on the street or with other people around I would think there is something wrong with him or he feels ashamed. i would not stay with a man like that.
