Your One Desire: Is it Love?

I have many desires in life. I think we all do. But the most important desire that I have is to be a good servant of God. I want to have something I can be proud to show God when I'll be stading in front of him in His kingdom in Heaven. I pray that I will be able to make Him happy and proud with every action I do on this earth.

My only desire for is now is also love, I'm not looking for love but still hoping for one day it will come for me no matter what time or place I am, I'm still hoping at the end of the day and after I retired on this life I have someone I will call my own true love. There's a lot of stories that inspires me if you saw it in the news at the age of 80 years old they still find one another. I know there is someone out there will be with me for the rest of my life.

yes, in this life, we have at least to desire something or someone ( not in a bad way). i like your proposal to seek clarification on what we really desire. we oftentimes take this for granted as we go on our daily tasks and roles. love is a good choice. why not? God is love. family is love. so many things we can connect with love.

My only desire is to be with me, to be free. Love is not the most important thing in my life, not if it is the love of someone else.

I often think that the way to make a difference is just to help people if we can. I probably don't help as much as I should but I hope God will forgive me and see that I tried to be a good person.

I also have a tendency to want to make a positive difference on the planet. Everyone has their strengths and everyone has something to offer. My desire is to write something that is uplifting to others because after I'm gone the things I've written will still be on the internet. If I can offer some wisdom and comfort to others through my writing I will be happy. I also want my children to know how much I love and care about them I always want the best for them including great health, financial security and to feel very, very loved.
