Do you consider Jeremy Lin as one of the elite point guards of the NBA?

Is he the next Iverson? Is he the next Steve Nash? Is he the next Magic Johnson? Maybe he is not the next, maybe he is the first and only Linsinaty. Do you think he is just an over-hyped player? I consider him the next all-star starting point guard, do agree?

He is a good point guard. However, I can't consider him as one of the elite point guards. He can score a lot of points, but he has too many turnovers. The NBA is filled with compelling point guards such as Chris Paul, DRose, Rondo, DWill, Kyrie Irving, John Wall and Tony Parker.

I respect your opinion. He is not yet in the level of the elite point guards that you mentioned. Jlin maybe in the process of becoming one of them. It takes time to be an elite player, it is not an over night phenomenon.

not yet. he is not yet on that level of elite point guards in the league. but he is good, and has all the potential to be great. you mentioned the point guard greats in the nba history, but forgot to mention another great who is still active in nba, jason kidd. linsanity is in the low now, but it burst into the scene with so much potential and hype. it is up to lin to live up to the linsanity.

JLin is the future. I think I also agree with what you said. He can be one of the Greats. Consistency makes an Elite Player. I can see his consistent performance in the last couple of months. I hope he will continue to amaze everyone with his dazzling moves, exciting passing ability, and humbleness.

I'm not really sure that he is one of the elite point guards of the NBA, I definitely don't think he is, and even more I'm not really sure if he could become one. He has the possibility because hes had some really good games, but overall he turns the ball over way too much to be an elite point guard. He's set the record for the most turnovers in his first starts and he has to average at least five or more turnovers a game. He does have potential but I just don't see him being as good as any of the players you mentioned. I honestly think that Iman Shumpert his rookie teammate should be the point guard over Jeremy Lin because he's much better defensively and doesn't turn the ball over anywhere near as much.

At this point I can't say that I classify him as an elite point guard in the NBA. I do feel he is a good point guard with potential to get better and become greater. He needs to work a lot on his decision making and stopping all of the turnovers. I wouldn't say he is over-hyped since he does have talent, but I do feel he needs time to develop into an elite player.

As a big Knick's fan. I can tell you he did get a lot of hype. But he continued to prove himself time and time again on the big stage. I think he was a product of Mike D'antoni's System. As far as the numbers he was putting up. But with that said, He is a very good and smart basketball player. He will be a starting Point guard for a long time in the NBA. No doubt he will remain with the knicks. And he will continue to put up all-star type numbers, just don't expect the 30 40 point games with 15 assists. I see him Like a Steve Nash. He will have a lot of assists and get some big points when it counts. Maybe average around 14 points and 8 assists a game. He just needs to tighten some of his game up a bit. We shall see. :)

I became a fan of Jeremy Lin the moment I heard how he started as a pro baller. I am also an Asian like him, but it is not because we are of the same race that is why I like him, but because he is a personification of hard work. All his accomplishments are due to perseverance, hard work, proper work ethic, and professionalism. He is more than a basketball player, he is a a self made man. Because of him I still believe that dreams could come true. I believe that New York Knicks will reach far with JLin, Melo, Amare, and Chandler. I call them the Unstoppable Four!

without a shadow of a doubt, his popularity is soaring high and will continue to rise, especially when he'll become a polished player. If can become better and improve his game day after day, I believe he'll become one of the best point guards in the National Basketball Association or NBA. Right now, he's enjoying the attention he gets from the fans all over the world. For me, he's an inspiration to many people, giving us an example that we can rise above the heights of greatness. In the shadows of greatness, every spectacular shots he make will stir the echoes and bring the roars from the thousands and millions of viewers worldwide.
