A light heart and happy thoughts, reduces tension, sharpen our focus, and increases our productivity. A strong desire to finish our tasks efficiently can often cause feelings of tension and urgency, which contribute to our sense of being burdened. Happy thoughts cause us to vibrate at a higher frequency, so choosing to focus on things that inspire us automatically makes us feel more positive about our obligations. At the same time, our happy mind-set can sharpen our focus and improve our efficiency. The result is a productive work flow, less stress, and a rewarding sense of satisfaction about our ability to accomplish our tasks. Injecting a bit of lightness into your mind-set can lift your spirits and make your work flow smooth and productive. Have you tried this and do you agree?

i definatly think that if we are happy we tend to work harder because we feel happy in ourselves. If we are unhappy our minds tend to be on other things and often cant concentrate this can effect our work.

I think yes, happy feelings can of course improve our efficency at work. In fact, it can not only make us do things more quickly, but aslo with high correctness. When we have bad mood, we are often slow in doing things and always absent-minded.

I totally agree...and besides it drives other nuts! I am very happy most of the time and I sing while I am working...people are always saying....why are you so happy? I just say.....I woke up this morning...alot of others didn't get that opportunity so I am very happy to have just one more day!

Yes! They always think that you can still sing while everyone is cramming because of so many tasks to accomplish. I was also like that when I was still working. My friends used to tell me to concentrate on what I was doing so that I'll not be late in submitting grades. They're just getting irritated because they were never happy in their whole life. Why make this life so difficult if we can make everything easy by being happy?

I strongly agree! Just this morning, when I woke up, I was positive I can reach payout. I still need few cents to hit this target. Because I am happy, I have been posting comments for two hours now! If I'm not happy, I am sure I can never write any posts today. Good luck to me! I aim for the highest earning today...

Hi Pose: In my personal experience I know how these words are so right and can help people in their daily activities. When I have frustrating thoughts for example, I feel completely block and things seems to be more difficult than how they really are. It's not easy to have these happy feelings when you are dealing with a lot of stress in your working area but they can help you and they are important for your emotional state of mind and to be a better worker at the same time.

There is something in what you said.Nobody could do a good job if people consider work to be a burden, let alone having creativity in work. However No way should they keep a light heart and happy thoughts,if workers don't get decent wages and have reasonable workday.Mind,"all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."

Hi changjiangzhibin, Thank you for responding and of course I see your point. Everyone needs a decent wage and I don't mean that a person should be happy, no matter the working conditions. Some employers are beginning to understand that a happy employee is a more productive one, and hopefully all will eventually come to that realization. Blessings.

We call it subjective initiative or conscious activity.A employer must know how to arouse the enthusiasm of employee.

Yes! I strongly agree with you! When I wake up in the morning and I feel so happy, my whole day is brighter than I couldn't imagine it would be. I can do anything I want faster than before. I feel the whole world is sharing with my happiness that whenever I look around, I see everything and everyone smiling. Even dogs look happier. How beautiful this life would be if everyone will be no longer sad.

Yes I agree, happy thoughts will make your work lighter. Negativism generally brings doubt and blurriness i n our thinking and will make us unfocused on the job at hand, were as with happy thoughts you will be able to think creatively. But I still believe that everything should be balanced. Too much inspiration and happy thoughts would make you wander and fly high with imaginations taking you off focused with the job or task at hand.

I totally agree.
There are times when each and every one of us feels uneasy, tired, frustrated, angry.
There are also times when we feel happy, good, fulfilled.
They way we feel has a big impact on the way we work, speak, even the way we walk.
I think is very important to have a good feeling when you begin something, because if you do it just to be done the outcome won't be that great and that is if you reach it.
But when you put your heart into something, when you do something with a smile on your face and sun rays in your heart the difference will be one to remember.

You have wonderfully crafted and posted great benefits of having happy thoughts in terms of its effects in the world of work. I agree with you and there's not much disagreement about it. Truly, a person who has a happy outlook in life will tend to be more productive in everything he or she does. Less stress, less problems, less worries, more joy, more value. Much more...

Hi Pose… Yes, they sure can. I would go to work telling myself I would have a good day, or a good night. Our attitude has EVERYTHING to do with our mood and stress at work. Being a nurse I had to deal with admissions, doctors orders, and getting the patients set up, plus I’d have to do nursing assessments, plus do all my other work and the charting… it was terrible some days. Sometimes I would go to the rest room and just cry for a minute to let the stress out and then get back to work.
However, if I went to work convinced I would have a good day, I seemed to handle the stress better. I still had all this stuff to do, but I handled it better.

Of course! How can they not?
At work, when i think of happy thoughts and view things in a positive way, my burden lessens as well as my stress level. I hate getting stressed by work. I cope with it badly, which is laziness. But I always see to it that my work gets done on time and i follow the rules. I make sure that I don't bother anyone else from doing their jobs, too. I recharge at home, relax and do things I really wanna do then in the day I work under better conditions. i don't ever regret relaxing at home. I don't take my work home with me. Time management is key. Don't overload yourself with work you don't want to do in the first place. For me, I find hobbies that i enjoy doing at home at night then in the day i work a lot. that's it.
